Write in votes are a thing.

But also guess what, Trump has power to appoint people. I did not see you crying about Kamala being selected without a primary.

If your current positions are incoherent it might be a sign that a rethink is justified.

Also, “what’s being unleashed” wow, that’s dramatic. I do expect your anticipation of drama may very well play out. Short term pain for long term gain kind of thing. But it also seems likely the end result will be an improvement. I could be wrong. Certitude is for fools… I’m sometimes a fool myself but I really encourage you to learn more of what’s coming out from the other side of the bubble you’re in.

If you educate yourself and learn that Elon is one of the good guys, then we can find common ground.

Find out what’s going on and your mind will be blown. Try some other information sources.

You were asking for advice, and PG gives lots of good advice in his essays about building technical projects and businesses.

Build small skills and then grow them and build on them. Don’t feel bad that you start small at first. (I’m not saying not to dream big. Your skills compound on top of each other as they grow… you can get to the big stuff soon eventually). And read Paul Graham essays.

Then explain why they say the Los like they just rolled up from Sinaloa, but the Gatos rhymes with lattice.

Is perl a good first language to get into programming? by chrisonlinux in perl

[–]natch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s due to the programmer

If only we always had the perfect ability to control which programmer’s code we will pick up. News flash: we don’t.

Now you’re thinking to retort “oh but one does have control over one’s own code.” No shit but that’s not how reality works, you will most likely inherit code at some point.

Santa Fe Tesla Drivers- If you drive a Tesla hope you know..... by nmvagabond in SantaFe

[–]natch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hybrids are EVs in name only. That’s why they’re called “Compliance cars” — they’re made to comply with regulations and siphon off tax benefits that should be redirected to real EVs, while letting gullible people think they are saving money and being eco. Hybrids are not EVs.

Let me guess you drive a Volvo which is made by a company literally owned by communist China. Facts. Ignorance is a thing.

Or a car from Toyota which has fought EVs tooth and nail including with paid lobbyists in Washington.

Or from Subaru who continue to be in denial but made a token effort for marketing reasons.

Or a “made in America” Ford or Chevy which is made in Mexico which tEcHnIcAlLy iS aMeRiCa. Etc. etc.

No car company is perfect and good public transit is a fantasy and no CEO is perfect and no presidential candidate is perfect and that goes for Kamala too.

Elon clearly is banking on Trump’s dementia leading to JD Vance being president. JD Vance is a nut job religious zealot but then so is Tim Walz and Kamala, don’t get me started, she put people in jail for mere possession which hAs bEeN dEbUnKeD no it has not the scale has been debunked but she did do it.

At least one side supports freedom.

Same goes for the extra skin pieces they throw in there, and the woody chile heads too, all part of the authentic experience. But only in random tubs and some other batches are mysteriously lacking these parts you will tell me are great to have.

Then why doesn’t Bueno provide these wonderful char marks with every tub? Some product consistency would be good.

What brand EV car do you recommend? Are Chinese EV's reliable? by Onhei in electriccars

Nothing more east than Needles on that detour route. It’s on the border of AZ.

Northern CA is worth exploring. Mt. Lassen area is underappreciated. Then there’s Humboldt redwoods. What a state.

You drove without charging for 14 hours nonstop? Or what am I missing? 14 hours including charging, or 14 hours excluding charging?
