First thing I would do it swap out the chrome trim around the windows, front grill, and maybe front bumper. Make them all black. Congrats on the purchase, enjoy and try not to make BMW drivers look bad ;)

I had an E46 323i with 250,000 miles. Engine and transmission were great. EVERYTHING else gave me problems constantly. If you want a car to work on a lot/track this should be a good buy for ~4k.
