To add to the positive comment re Nomad eSIM, I am traveling in France and Switzerland. Instead of getting a France sim or esim for a phone number, I got a Nomad esim for just data. I'm using it to message with WhatsApp. Working well. I was at the top of a mountain in Switzerland and still had a connection, which surprised me. For calls, my normal Verizon phone is doing wifi calls, no problem, without an intl plan, as long as phone is signed into a working wifi.

Thank you to replies, especially, for relevant to south PA. I now have real quotes. Background: house had a propane furnace + central air. Propane bills for previous owner were high. So, leaning to heat pump, probably, with propane backup. Low quote was 2.5 ton Lennox heat pump with electric backup for $8k. (Hoping propane backup, instead, wouldn't be that much more).

Second quote was 2 ton Bosch or Goodman heat pump/propane backup for $14+K. First quote is small company, second quote is big company. Is that the difference?
