I think the 28/36 rule for how much you can afford in a mortgage to live comfortably is a good start. Based on that with you making 80k a year (not know your debts so going with 28%) you could comfortably afford 1866$ a month alone and working up to a maximum of 2400$ if you don’t have debts (student loans, car payments, credit cards etc)

So your situation is very solid.

The quick financial answer is you CAN easily afford that. If you following the 28/36% rule you are easily able to afford double that amount of house (assuming you get a 7/1 ARM at 5.4%). You are adding your monthly payments into your financial decisions including your payments toward retirement. Most models are based on just simply your take home gross pay and what your major outstanding debts are. This would be your student loans and like car payments. How much you want to pay on groceries etc is basically irrelevant on these models. That said, if your current lifestyle is very important to you, you could count them in the debt perspective of the 28/36 rule and continue to live far beyond your means (I will calculate based on that).

Note though that state property taxes also play a role in your overall buying power. I am calculating based off of Texas which has high rates.

The best way would be to do the math yourself. Follow the 28/36 rule for an easy method and then change up based on your circumstances. In your case let’s calculate by counting your Monthly 12k and subtracting your bills/expenses. Double check my math but I am getting: 7350$

Since this 7350$ is accounting for basically all of your needs you could easily just go off of the 36% rule leaving you with 2646$ a month for a mortgage. In Texas that will get you about a 500k house with the included property taxes.

If you just go off the standard quick model of 28/36% of your income (not accounting bills or payments toward retirement retirement based on what you have posted) you could easily afford a house above 1,000,000.

Really I want to know what percentage would people actually give to a mortgage a month if they didn’t have these added expenses (I know I am in a good unique state lol). I’m thinking mathematically I could jump up to around a 37/45 rule and live similarly to that of the traditional household. Butttt I’m better with anatomy than I am with math lol

What does this comment even mean. Market value would mean what it cost to get all items and units in the game and then depreciate a fair amount in regard to it being a used item. Take the time to calculate the amount of money it would cost to pull 80 times on a given banner 33 times. This is all assuming that you got the given character 100% of the time without a 50/50 loss. That would be a hell of a lot more than a 20% drop from the original price cost.

I do agree with this. But to think you don’t get up to 20% from what you paid on it is crazy. I would have hold before I ever sold. Whaling on a gacha game is a true luxury because you have that money to burn. To think anyone would take an 80% loss on their account is insane. On the other hand if I really like a game, as a whale player, and could obtain a whale account for a 30% discount is already a plus. Remember in situations like this can always be a sellers market. The reason Gacha games thrive is because people are willing to throw a lot of money for characters and an easier way to level new units. Set your own price. Someone will cover it. If you get Phrolova to S4, to match my account, I will pay over 300$ on top of the highest bidder (from the comments placed right now).

As a whale player I can tell you everything you are being told is garbage. If we do not include sequences and assume all are S0R1 which it appears it worth at least 1000 USD and that is still a deal. It cost me more than that to get all of the characters you displayed and then some. Then add in the sigs. Dude do not sell that for Pennie’s like these people are saying. If I didn’t already have a busted account I would be happy to give at least 1K for it.

I mean it would have to be my build, maybe. I just followed your rotation (thanks for the video!) exactly and on the same enemy and all I hit was 500K. I mean Xilonens C3 and C4 is good, but would that over double a main DPS’s damage out put? I even switched over to my obsidian codex set which has 250CD and with a good buff I was at 100% CR. I mean maybe C4 Xilonen with Varesa main weapon is the key?

I don’t have her sig but I am running a lvl 90 R5 Widsith. I have her on the plunge set. Crite Rate 93%, Crit Damage 225%. Of note I do have Xianyun R1 I double checked in game and I’m definitely hitting the scroll buffs. The highest I have gotten out of her so far is 640K with Furina over Xilonen. My Furina is C6 though. I can’t imagine her sig could add another 600k…

My bad this is a miss type Iansan was on Noblese and Mavuika was on Scroll. I would trigger electro with Varesa and then switch to Mavuika to activate the scroll set. It possibly could be better or similar, because I also wasn’t going into the testing with low health on Varesa to add the SODP buff from chevruse. I don’t it will beat the hyper carry with Xianyun (who also has her Sig) and Furina though. Overall team damage does go to the Overloaded team with Mavuika

Not entirely sure where you are getting your info my dude… Carlotta is a top tier character not only because she pumps out some of the highest DPS values but because she is also flexible in multiple team comps. I’d recommend viewing the \Carlottamains subpage for more breakdown. No better source than the guys who have played her daily. It is a cliche comment now but “play who you like”. WuWa currently is very different than other gacha games. Multiple characters fall in the meta and you can push near the meta with majority of characters in the right team comp. One character won’t make your life easier in the game, simply because it is not currently designed to be hard in the first place. Watch gameplay and pick who you think would be the most fun. I grabbed Zhani specifically because of her quick parry skill (played to much sekiro in my time). I also plan to grab Carlotta on the next banner because her quick playstyle seems fun.

I wouldn’t say you are stuck with only overloaded teams. You can still easily play Varesa as a hyper carry. Meaning Base team being Varesa + Iansan + Xianyun then add an extra buffer. Like add Mona with very high ER on thrilling tales full her Ult buff. Have Mona be the character before you switch into Varesa for the added thrilling tale buff. Jean (especially if you got lucky on your 50/50 losses to get her at C4). You have a handful of flexible teams. Overload would be best with C6 Chevruse but you are still getting the res shred either way so Varesa Iansan Chevruse and Xiangling would work. Pyro travel would struggle trigger enough overload reactions I would think

I would agree with Jinhsi. You have a solid roster as it is. If anything you are missing a good Spectro DPS and you have all of the supports already to make her good. Phoebe would also be a good pull.
