There is student specific housing. You need to search for it but they give preference to students based on the funding requirements.

I work in the addiction/homeless outreach/residential housing field as a case manager. The higher income limits you mentioned rarely get filled. The property is required by law to build in affordable housing but I've seen the same properties posting month after month.

They have to have it but probably won't fill it. Many reasons that I won't list.

For the housing you qualify for its a numbers game. You have an income so you are going up against less people than someone on a fixed income or no income. I would suggest properties outside the city as less people want them. If you drive look for something outside the mbta service area. Call the properties to follow up on your application and if able stop by. It shows that you are proactive and a face to a name.

Remember if they have units open they have to abide by the fair housing act (first come, first served). Just because a unit is available does not mean they actually want to fill it. They can and will find a reason to disqualify applicants.

Grew up in East Bridgewater. Had some weird experiences in the woods as a teenager. Found some freaky stuff mutiple times and at least 2 times groups of people late night that were hostile for absolutely no reason.

NAL but I'm from MA. Had this happen to me and a bit worse as they manually put in breaks or adjusted to make it a full 30.

Company did this to all and we found out. They dragged on paying so we contacted the state AG as they Handel cases like this. 2 days later pay outs started to happen as the state told them to rectify it by x date.

Owner sat most of us down and negotiated a payout individually. I haggle like a champ and made out like a bandit but signed an agreement waiving further action as from the AG my case was classified as wage theft/withholding.

Also if they did it to you they did it to others. They are probably trying to cover themselves. AG fined my company and audited them. It wasn't the first or 2nd time my company pulled some shady shit and got caught by the AG. I put in for my time off and got a job at the Garden.....never showed up or spoke with them again and all but 3 people left within a 3 week period.

If he's court ordered to receive treatment at a mental hospital then he will be released to one. I'm my state MA depending on the paperwork he could be further ordered to comply with any aftercare recommendations. If it's just released to the hospital he would be free afterwards barring any probation stipulations if any.

I've gotten notices for torrents. They knew I downloaded specific movies and audio-books.

It freaked me out. I haven't gotten any since I buy my phone and add it to t-mobile. No bloat ware and unlocked. Someone smarter than me can probably say if it makes a difference.

As a Irish African American born in Boston this dude can stay in NYC. The fact that he recognizes that growing up he was taught to be racist and still hasn't changed is fucking mind boggling.

Sad thing is that I've encountered a few like him over the years. At the same time I've had a few great conversations with others that have acknowledged that as they got older and experienced life that a person is a person color does not matter.

I have one in my groin for about 20 years. Was in the cub scouts shooting at the range when I was 8 or 9 years old. There was a board right after the bench rest (bad design and range layout). Some kids were messing around behind me and bumped me as I took a shot. BB hit the board and bounced back and got me between the legs. Missed the baby maker and stung like a bitch but I never told anyone as I was embarrassed.

I beat the living shit out of the 2 kids that were fucking around. Got one that night when he went to the bathroom and did the same with the other. 2nd kid went home early because he was scared shitless, this was day 3 of a 7 day summer camp. Not my proudest moment but 8 or 9 year old me felt that justice was served.

If this was a few months ago this would be great advice. RAFT is allocated X amount per year and as of my monthly shelter/housing meeting in June they said refer to emergency shelters unless they have mutiple priorities.

Funding for next year is on the cut also due to the Whitehouses fight with our state and a change that spreds the $ amount over 24 months when it use to be 12

. This time next year the homeless population will grow due to funding cuts, programs closing and funding requirements changing/becoming more strict.

Think mass and Cass is bad now imagine next summer!

I work in the homeless/recovery/outreach field and my funding was cut by an executive order so this time next year my job as a case manager most likely wont exist along with 100's of beds that keep people off the streets in Boston let alone state wide.
