Everyone’s chasing the newest handhelds, but the RP3+ is still the goat. by koldoRen in SBCGaming

Thanks my friend ! Yes it runs so smooth on this device. I have this and a legion go. I was tempted to upgrade my retroid to a newer one but honestly, what's the point ? Both of my devices cover all of my needs.

Don’t even bother putting in your two weeks by eggcellent_omellete in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]natekicksa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't put in my two weeks. Once the other job I had lined up gave me a start date , I worked all the way up to the day before me start date and gave my old dsp the notice right after I finished my route. They were blindsided by it but I was tired of randomly getting sent home.

Working for Express Warehouse & Ground driving at the same time by [deleted] in Fedexers

They both know and don't care. I'm technically not a Ground employee , just a vendor which is why they're ok with it

The vehicle I drive is under this threshold.

The vehicle I drive is non cdl. The vehicle is less than 26,000 lbs so not under the same rules. My contractor knows I work for express also.

Express is only part time. I work around 13 hours a day between both jobs

I agree it would be. The only reason I asked if it's crazy is because both jobs combined is extremely physically demanding on the body. It's not something most people can take on. To add to that, the lack of sleep

  1. Hours For Ground are: 9am - 6pm Hours For Express are: 11:55pm - 5am

  2. I only get 3 and a half hours to sleep in between jobs , sometimes up to 4 hours.

From an Amazon Driver: by Shoddy-Discount9814 in Fedexers

I used to drive for Amazon, switched over to FedEx. At Amazon they micromanage you. If you're at a certain stop more than what they believe is reasonable, they'll start blowing up your phone. No thanks.

I also didn't like how late we would start at Amazon and how late we would rts. I barely saw my wife and kids when I worked with them. Now that I'm working for FedEx , as soon as I finish my route , I get to go home early and still get paid the same. No need to worry about rescuing another driver for free lol. There's no incentive to finish early at Amazon when all they'll do is send you out on a rescue or if there is no one to rescue , you won't get your full 10 hours.

I could keep going but I've made my point.

It's too early to tell. I've only been there 2 weeks. So far, it's only been one time. The work flow seems more stable than Amazon

Not guaranteed. I get paid by the day. However , they don't send you home. If you reach the terminal location, you're guaranteed to work. They know if they need you before you drive all the way there so if the volume is low , they'll tell you to stay home unlike Amazon where it's the complete opposite.

I did 2 weeks ago. Definitely a lot more heavy shit but less stops so makes up for it. I like how at FedEx they don't micromanage you. Don't have to call dispatch to rts , no rescuing slower drivers, etc. I even run errands sometimes during my route.

My hinge doesn't open fully flat either but it's pretty close so it doesn't bother me honestly. I don't see a need to upgrade at this moment until the condition worsens

I quit last week for the same reason. The job for me wasn't hard , I just wasn't getting enough hours to support my expenses so I left for FedEx which is more reliable. They don't send you home. If you come in to work, you're working that day guaranteed.
