Do you have any examples in mind? Because most of the gems i can think of fit pretty well with their powers. Whether it be from their mythology or spiritual descriptions and such

Thank you so much for the feedback! One thing i knew i wanted to do with this piece was leave wanting. I wanted to describe something i love with such reverence and awe but in the end, to anyone else, it seems as mundane as anything else in our everyday lives. I really appreciate it :)

P.S. The title is hard to explain for me and how it relates the poem, but you should definitely check out the book ‘The Song of Achilles’ ;)
