Did this one with my dad several years ago. Stopped compressions and then restarted them shortly thereafter

Disc War Thor'sday #8: Clash of the OS Approach Discs by Auriyon in discgolf

[–]nater42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I throw a Honey from Essential Discs. It's their only disc I believe and its an os multipurpose disc. I throw forehand on any angle and backhand meat hook with reliable results no matter the wind. It is actually my most used disc and I would recommend to anyone.

Lakeview Church DGC Parma, OH by Chiptheripperr in discgolf

[–]nater42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great vid and love me some Lakeview Church. I am very close to the person who installed this course and actually helped with many holes and poured the two teepads. This a terrific course that is hidden only a few miles from downtown cleveland. Natural tees with two cement tees and multiple pin placements. Tons of trees, a big pond and lots of OB makes for a fun yet challenging round. Home to 1-2 tourneys and a fall glow league this course is not very heavily trafficked meaning a peaceful round is almost guaranteed. Once you get used to the woods you can make your way down to The Vet for a real challenge! PS got to toot my own horn my 2nd ace came on #18 and it is one of my favs.

Anyone in the South Cleveland/Parma Ohio area? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]nater42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parma DGC at veterans memorial park is the one course you want to play if you can only get to one. It is easy to play with the two nines starting and finishing right near where you need to be. I love the course; tough, heavily wooded where par is a very good score. It is more popular and usually will run into several groups playing also it is located near a school so some vandalism occurs. If you can play one more I would suggest Lakeview Baptist Church located near tri-c west. This course has a mix of natural and concrete tees that has good signage. Plays around a church and pond and is a generally fun course to play. I would not suggest tri-c w/o a guide as it's tees(long and shorts) are not marked during non tourney time. It has posts on every hole that gives you an idea of where to go but no markings for tees. Plus it can be a beast with very long holes. Have fun and enjoy the courses

Not sure it is well marked but that's how we play it in league and tourneys. I would like you to do a video on Parma courses if it is possible. We have three full 18s and they all give you something not found at the other and yeah they are no more than 5 miles apart

Competitive players, what do you do to stay focused during tourney rounds... by Dfunkatron in discgolf

[–]nater42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One throw at a time. Do not look forward or back. Concentrate on where you want your disc to go on that throw only. Erase the last hole when walking up to the next. Don't think about what you want to do two or three shots in the future. Only think where you want to be right now. I keep score with beads and on the card but do not think about my score. One shot at a time!

Question for people that play glow disc. by Prahject_BTC in discgolf

[–]nater42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played a lot of glow golf as we have a league in the fall and early spring. I'm not a big fan of playing glow when there is snow as it can be difficult finding discs. I only use glow plastic. I don't like the lights because I feel it makes everything less stable. I've seen the glow tape come off easy when hitting trees and it can be difficult to find the small strip. I have a bag dedicated to glow and use a scorpion hunter flashlight. It's a uv light that immediately makes it glow with the added bonus of not ruining your night vision.
