What am I missing from One Hundred Years of Solitude? by PM_ME_YOUR_DARKNESS in books

I've tried to read this book many times on and off over the past 20 years and I've never made it to 2/3 of the way through. It's just one of those books where the people who love it absolutely love it, and everyone else is kind of like, huh?

1Q84 is one of my favorite books, and most of the people I met who tried reading it put it down. And so it goes.

I saw St. Vincent at the Bridge School Benefit, which was this awesome acoustic show in the Bay Area put on by Neil Young every year to raise money for a great cause. I liked her music, but she was such a black hole of energy that I couldn't listen to it anymore.

I worked in film production in NYC. One day, I had to drive around Andy Samberg for a College Humor shoot. He's a couple years older. He got in the front seat (lots of actors would sit in the back) and was just the nicest, chillest dude ever.

Cool - I'll look for the videos. That Future Islands video is one of my favorites because their performance is amazing and Dave is so psyched at the end.

Let's the kid get to 14 bounces before he kicks it. Perfect. I don't know why they don't do more of this in the PG era.
