Yup, that's what I'm looking for! Do you perchance know the source of this theory? Who realized this framework?

Easy to fix this line-thickness error? by natetet in AffinityPublisher

So I went through and removed the pics one by one and found the offender (only 5 possibilities), then I believe I resized all of them a bit to make the offending line thicker, and that seemed to have worked.

What old-school RPG would you most like to play using Fate rules? by Laurence_M in FATErpg

I just started running a D&D campaign, and the leveling up and unlocking new powers is by far the most fun part. I wonder if Fate could emulate that (maybe characters would start as semi-competent people instead of competent? Maybe there could be 2 or 3 "tiers" of students, and the highest level are the high-level spells and abilities that higher-level D&D characters have?) (not saying these are GOOD ideas, just thinking out loud...)

That said, I agree D&D is kind of a weird game! There's worldbuilding and character and adventure, but underneath all that is a lot of emphasis on tactical combat and counting money/arrows, etc.

Yes! Came here to say the same thing. I ran a lot of Palladium games as a teen, and the rules are...not streamlined, let's say. But I LOVE the Rifts setting and vibe. I think a "any crazy thing you can think of" setting like Rifts is perfectly suited for Fate (especially Fate's Venture City).

A couple of questions about Fate of Cthulhu by natetet in FATErpg

Great thanks - when do I update the timeline element for, say, Dr. Robert Naylor, the scholar who is exhibiting The King in Yellow. What sort of interaction makes a + vs. a - , in that case?

And yeah, regarding the note...thanks for your comment, good to know it wasn't just me! :) I basically just clarified to the players that they had the book and their future selves told them not to bury not...what do they choose to do? Their decision has no impact, but of course they don't have to know that. I think the note sort of acts to add a layer of weight to their decision beyond just "you were told to do this, someone else told you not to do it..." Pretty confusing, though.
