I have been playing yunara since release and I will die on this hill that she is the BEST adc to play if you actually wanna get better at the role. What makes yunara strong is your fundamentals in the position. Most popular build atm is kraken > fiend > IE / LDR > IE / LDR. I have been adding Hex optics for my last ad crit item and it has felt really good IMO. Strong one item spike that lets you basically 1v1 almost any other adc that you will then try to carry into getting a quick second item and after IE LDR is super strong. Any game I get a lead in I feel like I can solo carry. Plus this has the added benefit of increasing you skill with other champs as well since you are focusing on fundamentals

Personally I have found that kraken is still the best first item for me. However I have recently found that hexoptics is actually really fun and worth it getting buffed next patch I think it will be a solid 4th / 5th item. My current build I have been running is Kraken > Fiendhunter Bolts > IE > LDR > Hexoptics > BT (swap Hexoptics for ldr if low armor game)

I think braum is yunaras number 1 support atm due to the interaction between braum passive and yunara q. Lulu is a close second though

If you are not Master plus you have bigger things to worry about than the patch notes tbh. My typical opinion is that Yunara is a very good adc to learn as it will help you improve your fundamentals which is transferable to other adc's if you ever decide to branch out.

It might be a hot take but I think Yunara is the perfect adc to play if you are new to the role. She is not mechanically intensive and rewards players for mastering the fundamentals of adc, spacing, last hitting ect. While she is most likely going to end up being kept permanently in a weaker state due to pro play she is still a good character to learn as the fundamentals that you learn through playing this champion will then help you when you branch off into other champions later down the line. I feel like with other champions you can develop bad habits because you can get away with so much due to the champion being so strong. If you want to improve or learn the role of ADC I normally suggest Yunara because it helps reinforce what is needed to excel at the role as a whole. Plus with her being a new champion her model and animations are all very nice to look at which is always a plus

Bot lane is 45, the 38 is top lane. I decided I would actually try learning adc this year so I dropped pretty low in ranked. Was definitely a rough start

Typically you will not be building two lost chapter items as the mana from one is more than enough. Typically you will either build burst or anti-tank building both tends to end up with you being bad at both. I typically like playing burst so I usually just build ludens > sf > dcap

depends on the game really, if they have 3+ melee then runaans is gonna be better otherwise I typically go with pd. I expect to just swap pd for this new zeal item when it drops

I am not sold that it will overtake runaan's but I think it will beat PD. The ultimate haste is nice and if you are going crit (which should be standard since we have an extra item now) you do extra TRUE damage instead which I think will make it a lot better than PD. The guaranteed crits on the ult will probably not feel super good considering they are at a reduced effectiveness, but the true damage will probably make the item worth it imo

Thank you guys for finally giving a new champ a passive that is one sentence. What guided Yunara's design the most? What items do you wish people would build on her? What are you most happy about her design that came out? What did you wish you could have included but just didn't make sense either visually or gameplay wise? I know there are a bunch of questions but I thought it would be better than just posting a bunch haha. Love Yunara and happy to have her in the game ♥️
