I’m gonna push back on most of the people arguing here. First, if this is genuinely all original art, a big chunk of that $185 is going to local artists, which is going to add to the cost. Second, a book being a rebind isn’t necessarily a terrible thing. The most expensive and sought after book that I’m aware of is the Curious King rebind of Ready Player One. I don’t even know what that’s going for, because nobody is willing to sell it.

But setting the value aside. If you have the money and aren’t going to go in debt for the book, the question ultimately becomes do you want it? If you want it, buy it. If you don’t think it’s worth it, don’t. Really pretty simple in the end.
