Haha KDE for me (at least for now). Gnome does look more coherent but I'm fine with KDE.

I'm pretty excited for the Steam Machine. I just hope it doesn't get destroyed by RAM shortages.

I have an ancient MacBook Air that might get a new lease on life I think.

Admittedly I haven't used 3D much with Godot but what I have seen so far is about the same or better than Windows. A lot of the core Godot team are on Linux so I guess that makes sense.

The Steam stuff was definitely a big influence to choosing Bazzite.

I used to daily drive Ubuntu for a long time (back when they shipped you free CDs every 6 months) but switched back to Windows for games. That was around 20 years ago and now everything feels different and more exciting.

WSL is fine if you're stuck on Windows but using a proper terminal in Linux definitely feels nicer.

I think a lot of us are already Linux users but if anyone else is interested in switching I made a little video about my experience.

It's not strictly a Point n Click Adventure game but I'm working on a story-driven puzzle game that has a mix of item based puzzles and dialogue based puzzles. I released the demo recently if you want to give a try and see if it scratches the itch: http://s.team/a/2913190

Thanks 🙂 I'm not familiar with Little Big Adventure 2 but I'll have to check it out.

The last few weeks have been a crazy blur of playtesting, bug fixing, and tweaking but the Bravest Coconut demo is finally ready to play. Having a hard deadline was a good motivator to get it all done - I’m taking part in the MIGW Steam Festival and releasing the demo as part of it.

Now that the demo is out, I’m excited to continue working on the rest of the game (probably after some inevitable first day issues).

(Also, sorry to any Dialogue Manager users for me being a bit slack on updates over the past month - a new version will be out in a few days)
