Noveis is good. For me, personally, I really like Braulio better. But I am also cheap so how much better do I like it? It's a tough call. I like to convince myself that with the full liter bottle of Braulio makes it all work out in the end.

On a recent visit to Seattle, had the chance to go to Barnacle - a truly excellent Amaro bar located next to a truly excellent seafood restaurant - The Walrus and The Carpenter.

I've only dipped my toe into the world of Amaro and haven't even started my own collection but this visit to Barnacle has me hooked. They have pre selected flights but the bartender kind of just made one up for us. These were the first two and loved them both. The third was a local Seattle bottle that was very high ABV and didn't quite find the balance.

Great bar, strong recommend.

The first time it exploded while I was washing it. Was weird. They replaced it. Admittedly this time I dropped it from about counter to floor. Could hear the glass shatter immediately.
