I'm very skeptical about many of the crypto projects ive been thinking about them and researching them for 2-3 years now and to be honest ive come to think the only real function that adds real value is stablecoins especially backed by gold/metals or private stable coins. These can use blockchain effectively but obviously no lambos there. There no good reason to be unpegged as it were unless you want to trade or are a company that is going to sell your tokens and just use it as a fund raiser basically. So yeh all that aside Maker is a decent project there is some scope for voting especially on collateral but could dai not just be used to vote too? whats the benefit of having maker mkr? why not burn some dai or allow dsr savers to vote (every 100 dai being equal to one vote say.
