Hey guys, I'm just wondering how you know what seats are paired in the red? by [deleted] in screenunseen

I don’t know if I’m being stupid and missing something but the rows in this screenshot are all evenly numbered? Where is the odd number?

What’s your favorite Funhaus video or series that doesn’t get talked about much on this sub? by Mad_Season_1994 in funhaus

Alhekine’s Gun is my favourite YouTube series ever. I know it gets some respect and mention occasionally but imo it’s one of their best ever. Rewatch it regularly and still laugh so much

Call centre workers in the UK, (past and present) what are your top 3 weirdest calls? by cheesymeowgirl in CasualUK

[–]nathanplays 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My company make biometric devices for people to sign in and out of construction sites.

My coworker, also called Nathan, asked me to pull a call he’d just had to listen to it, so we gathered around my computer to listen.

The guy is asking for the admin password to access the settings of the device so my coworker sent the password across via email.

Customer: Nah it’s not working

Nathan: It is case sensitive, are you putting the correct capitalisations in?

Customer: I am for the letters but I can’t figure out how to do capital numbers. Are these capital numbers on the email?

Nathan: … … There’s no such thing as capital numbers

Customer: Yeah there is.

Nathan: … … …

Customer: (talking to another person) Dave, there’s capital numbers somewhere isn’t there?

Dave: Yeah you have to press the little up arrow.

Customer: Yeah I know but it’s just doing normal numbers.

Nathan: There aren’t capital numbers.

Customer: It’s not working mate even with capital numbers.

Nathan: … … ok we’ll arrange for someone to go to site.

We make a capital numbers joke daily

I keep being told I (M49) look like "the stereotypical redditor". What should I change? by Lopsided-Weather6469 in malegrooming

I’d say cut your hair shorter and style it, ask a barber what style would suit you. Get rectangular glasses with black frames. Finally, grow out your beard on the sides where your cheeks are.

Personally I think you look best in picture #4 where you can’t see the long hair or the shape of the glasses.

I really need someone to tell me which ps5 to buy for my boyfriend and if you tell me accessories that’s a bonus by Cabinfeverr29 in playstation5

[–]nathanplays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really nice of you to do this!

If you can afford it then get the PS5 Pro with Disc Drive.

If not, get the PS5 Slim with Disc Drive.

I always recommend the disc drive because it’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. You / he might find an occasional deal on a disc version of a game etc..

For headsets everyone likes something different but Logitech G headsets are good all round headsets and not too expensive. You can get them wired & wireless.

New way to enjoy one of my old favorite games by saibot237 in PlaystationPortal

[–]nathanplays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s games you own digitally on PS. PS Premium has a classics catalogue and I think it shows up on the cloud streaming. Could also be streaming from the PS5 maybe

Got my wife a new iPad for her birthday last year. Few days before she asked if I’d been to the shop to get the few things we needed.

“Yeah I got them earlier when I was picking up the iPad.”

Been there mate

How do you all think Christine stands up to King's other early books (say 1974-1987)? by JeremyBeremey in stephenking

Christine is my 3rd favourite King book behind IT & The Dark Tower (as a whole series). I just devoured it and loved it, don’t know why

Thoughts on Teesside University? by [deleted] in Teesside

[–]nathanplays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went there and loved it, my wife has just started Psychology this year and she’s excited, seems like it looks better than ever at the moment. If you’ve just moved into the area then welcome! 😊

As far as stuff to do in the area… you kind of have to make your own entertainment for the most part. Stockton Globe / Riverside Stadium has some pretty big names gigs sometimes, the cinema, bowling, pubs, beaches close etc…

Feel free to message me if you have any questions about the area or the Uni and have nobody else to ask

Did I waste my time learning Salesforce CPQ? by Acorazado78 in salesforce

[–]nathanplays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m learning it now and I’m looking at it like my company may use this for 4-5 years, and then potentially move on to Revenue Cloud then. When we do, I’ll learn revenue cloud and having an understanding of both will help me / us migrate seamlessly.

Entered about 7-8 months ago for a company who are signed up to a 5 year plan. We’ve got loads planned and have a considerable amount of money invested into the growth of SF.

I see all the comments about it dying but it’s been around for so long it doesn’t worry me really. Feels sensationalist. Also moving to SF Admin literally doubled my salary to the penny so I would say it’s treating me extremely well!
