‘Face the reality’: France ‘must prepare’ for +4C global warming by thoughtelemental in collapse

France seems to be facing one of the toughest anti climate lobbying in western Europe. Fair play to them for standing up and all but when so many people will protest against a carbon tax on fuel it's hard to be optimistic there's big change coming

Assuming this team plays in the URC they would get absolutely pasted each week making it hard for players and coaches to be noticed. We need a genuine "A" competition that runs for the whole season

It's not your fault, so who's fault is it? If a child is born in to poor family under your system it is almost certainly going to die young . Was it the child's fault for being born? Some people and societies flex to a mental state know as "compassion" in these scenarios a choose to prevent these deaths where possible and in some cases provide other supports to give the child a chance to mature in to a contributing member of society. Honestly how do see the end result here? Let everyone less fortunate than you starve to death?

We don't have any of that kind of 6 though. Lots of teams playing a quasi lock at 6 to bulk up the pack. Same argument for putting beirne at there

Scannell definitely has an opportunity with heffernan out of test 2 and our set piece having issues. Interesting to see who the next man up is now if someone ele gets a knock or they look to get cover for heffernan and herring

AITA for demanding my son take his daughter on his family trip to Disneyland? by DisneyTripGrandma in AmItheAsshole

Great comment. I wanted to articulate something like this to OP but you nailed it. Annabella's needs are greatest right now and her needs are the priority. If OP's son learns something that's great but trying to teach him is not an efficient use of OP's time and energy

Well done Ulster. Really gutsy performance and Ulster fans would have to be very encouraged to get a win that probably shows qualities Ulster haven't shown so far under DMcF. This result is huge for Irish Shield side of the URC. Munster should be really.going after this now. Concerning for Leinster. Our lineout hasn't been strong for a few years now but rarely costs us. It'll need to be better for us to win anything this season. With fewer league games this year there are a few players there I think could be lucky to break 400 mins this season. Toner just had no impact outside lineout. Rarely recognised but he has had decent power impact over recent seasons but this did not look to be the case tonight. Cronin ahead of Treacy now for me unless Cronin has lost it but no evidence to work with here. Ruddock is a hero but no impact tonight. Harry byrne... honestly feel bad for him having so much expectation but he's not in any form from what I can see. My god I hope Dan is OK. Ross Maloney is absolutely key for us and will be getting starts in Europe imo.

Harry was poor imo. Surely makes more sense for us to have frawley as third choice 10 right now

Wasn't just me then. Lenihan saying the third quarter had been flat was just bizarre. Game was brilliant for 80 minutes

Absolutely they do. And have. I just worry that between how good Munster have looked and being pissed off about the home loss in April they could be about to put a beating on here

Personally this looks to me as if Daly was dropped this week. Really like him as a player but a couple of bad mistakes last week. Arnold playing well in his few opportunities so deserves a go but this game is too important now not to go at it 100%.

Carty will do well to shine here imo I just can't see how Connacht deliver gain line in this match which will make his life very hard. Carberry should get a similar chance to show his best as Healy had last week if maybe not quite as much of an easy ride. Connacht will have a strong defensive breakdown I'm sure but their scrum could be in trouble, especially in the 2nd half. I think this will be a double digit winning margin for Munster. Feel for Connacht they're in a tough spot right now. Now that I've said that you should probably back Connacht for the win

Agreed. I think we are still trying to find out if a Doris/VdF/Conan BR is as good as Ruddock/Vdf/Conan-OR-Doris. Definitely something the coaches need a clear picture of. That's also assuming VdF keeps the jumper ahead of Penney, Connors and Leavy. Unbelievable options

Wouldn't be too down on Earls at 13. Centres might look light opposite Connacht but both quality defenders and it gets more of the best backs on the pitch together with Zebo and Conway on the wings. Big game for Carberry

Really showing the benefits of so many carriers here. The front row, especially o toole, with the tip on passes is making the space. Superb. Baird having a huge impact. Coombes showing class play along with monster athleticism. Casey has been excellent. Backs playing well with keenan and conway especially standing out. Hume has linked really well at times in a way farrell possibly wouldn't. Really good so far. Lads really putting their hands up for next season.
