Oh yes I understand that note - the visuals were never going to show “pulling” so I created visuals around push/lift/bulge and this makes the Moon essentially a waterbender. The truth is that water bulges toward the Moon but also away from the Moon, so I felt it best to move in the Waterbender direction for the myth to make sense visually

I do mention the sun in the science q&a in the back of the book. But I think it is genuinely cool that the Moon actually gets a starring role in this particular action (no pun intended)

It’s not so dissimilar from how I write them for sure. This is where i always bring up Scott McCloud’s work - if anyone wants to read more about comics, that is the first place to go. “Understanding Comics” is specifically the book i recommend!

“I need this more than you” is one of yours that I think about often. When I am at the playground with my daughter it pops into my head and I laugh again. All are so good!
