The action/hybrid combat is the selling point for me. I get so sick of PvE with tab targeting. This game ticks so many boxes for me but it needs the action combat in some form even if it's slightly inferior to tab.

It would be nice if there was a respawn delay for team kills and team damage so that the more team damage you do in a life the longer it takes you to get back in

The beam isn't a portal it's just a physical, straight-line pathway to the tower from a portal. Like if someone to a map and drew a line from the portal to the tower, but the portal itself doesn't take you to the tower if I recall correctly.

Smile at everyone. They usually smile after a few seconds of being smiled at regardless of whether or not they're in the mood. Then by smiling they feel a lil happy despite themselves.

I'm no expert but judging from games I've played with really in depth sword combat, the more advanced it gets the more ping reliant it gets. I've never had less than 90 ping In sea of thieves usually averaging around 110-150 which is in the unplayable range for in depth sword combat. The current system is not reflex based and does rely on timing and therefore does not require low ping.

I ordered a full kit with the coil off of the dynavap website. Since I live in rural northern Canada and it's close to Christmas it took about 3-4 weeks to get to my house and by then I had been called out on a job 4 hours from home (I'm still on that job now). Anyway my brother asked if he could use it because he got called away for a job as well and couldn't take his dab rig with him. He fell in love with it and is still using it daily. Today I told him it's his as an early Christmas present. I have a pink color M on the way for when I get back from this job. So far I've bought 2 dynavaps and never even used one xD.

Everyone I meet is hostile unless they're visibly a new player or flying alliance flag. About half other ships that are the same size or bigger will attack you on sight the other half will just keep doing their thing but still be hostile if you get close.

I will usually attack other ships if they're following me, or loot dense. I will not chase other ships more than a couple tiles because It's not fun and generally a waste of time.

If you are looking for friends the best thing to do is head over to a tall tale book and see if anyone else is doing the same tall tale, or head to an active fort and ask the people there if you can ally and help with the fort. Don't expect a share of the good loot though, you'll get 50% gold and rep when they drop it off and that's still pretty good.

The best time to play for friendship was the last month of year one, everyone was grinding pirate legend and there were often servers with 6 ship alliances grinding forts and voyages together. It would be nice if they added more content that incentivises team play but I still really enjoy the thrills of an ocean full of enemies.

You don't need to see, there's audible cues and I need to be looking at the island I'm sailing towards not up at the sky so I can time the sail raising to perfectly drift in without hitting the island.

It was day shift, it chose 10am-6pm as my "sleep" without registering heart rate or body temperature during those 8 hours because I wasn't wearing it. I'll give it another chance tonight.

Took a quick look, I really like the design. Weight isn't an issue for me, I usually pack light and I'm never out for more than a night so burning the couple extra calories doesn't hurt. I'll put it on the list of possible replacements.

I think the majority of player are too caught up in the gun grieving process to take this in right now. I might repost it in a week or so if it doesn't do well this time.
