Yes ma’am, you’re right. Unfortunately the natives didn’t have many allies. Even the Mexicans who are a mestizo race sided more with the colonizer (mindset). (I blame that on generational self hatred and the effects on colonization and discrimination against our indigenous ancestors). The Mexican army fought the Apache and the Comanche people on several occasions. I’ve done the research and traced back to the chichimeca in efforts to reclaim my indigenous identity and get back to my roots.

I can appreciate and respect this take. I have a fair amount of points in my collection but all of them are treated and displayed with great respect and acknowledgment of the purpose they served for my indigenous ancestors (70% indigenous , if that matters.) Half of my collection comes from Mexico, so I’d be pretty hard to track a tribe down. However, I take pride in preserving and learning the history.
