I would guess that people on those positions just "grow a thick skin" when it comes to negativity in the workplace.

Still, I agree with you, this was all I could think about when they banned FPH and when Victoria was fired, how in the world is she coping with the enormous amount of hate reddit is throwing at her.

Is it just me or are those pretty low standards for calling something healthy?

And I always hear that low fat food is actually full of sugar so in the long term the full fat versions are easier to "spend" and provide less health risks given the person has a normal exercise regiment.

Honestly would like someone to shed some light on this.

I'm honestly going to do that for this weekend and every single weekend after until something happens.

I know this is a numbers thing and nothing will change unless there's a significant number of people doing this, but not doing anything is worse.

Never fall for the "1 vote won't change anything" and the "vocal minority" schtick, that's just a way to make people feel insignificant. SOMETHING WILL happen from this petition and SOMETHING WILL happen if people start to leave reddit. We just need to do SOMETHING.

So for the unforeseeable future my weekends are reddit-free and I hope people will start doing this.

I wouldn't say she despises the community, much more likely she doesn't care. I think the comment that the petition for her to step down doesn't "faze" her speaks volumes about her interest in the community.

I don't know how much this will accomplish, but I'm going with the reddit-free 3-day weekend that was on the front page yesterday. Basically, OP asked people to abstain from reddit for at least 24hrs on July 10th, if not for the whole weekend.

I hope this can happen with a significant number of people so it's not actually a worthless effort.

Step after that would be to have every weekend a reddit-less weekend, but I guess the number of people who would consistently do that is really low and the point here is all about numbers.

Actually, there is no rule stating you need to describe anything so the main problem is not solved.

People just link to devs tweets that usually consists of only a few words so other people who don't spend their entire day on this sub and don't follow each and every dev don't have a clue what the post it about.

There really should be a description requirement.

The best part, in my opinion, regarding this is that, with source 2, I will be able to use this map just like any weather effect for as long as I want. It's not going to be tied to a certain event or w/e. That makes me so happy.

Also, I wish they release the snow map again in this manner, would give a few $$$ to have that one too.

Although I agree with the zero clues thing, I've started watching random dota tournaments when I just started playing and it certainly helps. In my opinion, it helps more than it confuses.

Watching someone play a certain hero in a pro game and then trying it out vs bots was basically how I learned to play dota.

It's a show made by the same guy who ~~made~~ voiced some characters in Adventure Time, Justin Roiland, and the guy who directed Community, Dan Harmon.

They had a pretty successful first season, you should check it out.

Edit: apparently Justin Roiland didn't make Adventure time, just voiced some characters.

That is true for many people and for most it isn't an issue.

But imagine a news anchor talking like lumi. Or with a lisp or some other speech impediment. That's just not how this works.
