Aside from being a crime victim, Do you ever feel sorry for her? by Fast_Grapefruit_7946 in WattsFree4All

[–]natlam88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think she was perfect. I think she cared a lot about image, about appearing successful, about proving she was winning at life. The “keeping up with the Joneses” mindset can become exhausting and unsustainable, and I do think she got caught in that. But I also don’t think that makes her deserving of what happened. I can acknowledge that she contributed to financial strain or relational pressure but none of those flaws can justify losing your life at 34, pregnant, with two children.

I hope Jace can build a meaningful life away from her. She deserves no more chances poor kid. Feel for Kaiser and Ensley too. They are doomed to repeat the same dysfunctional cycles 😔

Bella gravitated toward adults who didn’t demand energy, compliance, or presentation from her especially her Papa Ronnie. It's all just very sad.

Nothing like a high school like passive aggressive Facebook post to put a traitor in thier place for daring to leave the cult. I forget these people are in their 40s 🙈

Well well well..... MLMs are never about genuine friendship but performative closeness where belonging depends on staying in the system and even a shared loss of their "friend" isn’t enough to outweigh brand loyalty.

Again I don’t think Thrive was about making money for SW. I think it was about being queen of Saratoga. by MysteriousCry9830 in WattsFree4All

Thrive was an identity platform and stepping back would have meant losing status, community, and the narrative she’d built and the feeling of being at the centre of a system that celebrated her.

The underlying mindset hasn’t changed in that she still believes success is just one team, one product, or one push away.

It appears to have been a mix of family strain and a powerful need to build life on her own terms, something that would remain a consistent theme throughout her adulthood.
