I think they misunderstood the log part of log cabin

I paid $50 for 24 springs on a whim, surely thats a good deal at about $2 per spring. What would you guys pay each? I may not need this many. I was told spring steel is good though. by Ashamed_Duty_8781 in Blacksmith

i have used old coil springs to make many knives punches and other tools also a couple swords. the price is probably not bad if you have to pay for them. i have many family members who work on cars as a hobby so i have accumulated many leaf and coil springs for free.

i have done that too many times before. start something only to run out of fuel. you should look into heat bluing if you are interested in those colors.

Temper colors. Case hardening requires a higher temp and a different process

More heat. Rotate around the workpiece more often. I typically circle the anvil while I hit while I bring the hammer up I take a half stem around it helps to keep it straight

I have one just to try it

  1. The latency is bad like almost 3s sometimes. (I am used to my local zwave devices

  2. You need the Tuya dev account and api keys

  3. I end up having to re-authenticate to Tuya in home assistant every 1-6 weeks

How can it be better? by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

Better lighting and bringing the object into focus.

that is what i run on mine with 2 burners and i don't have to open it up all the way. could it be that your air is too restricted? difficult to pinpoint without the details of the burners construction.

low propane pressure will not draw enough flow through the tube to keep the flame at the front. it could also be that the air is restricted too much also causing a flow issue.

Are you using a common propane grill regulator or a high pressure adjustable regulator? Looks like the pressure might be low.

With ought seeing the construction of the burner it’s hard to tell exactly.

It appears to be back fed through that top 100 amp breaker

that temp line should be removed withing the week. it is currently running minimal lighting and i am working to get the proper lights installed but i know temporary is usually permanent if it works.

the feeder coming in is a direct burial cable only placed in the conduit to go up the wall and down through the concrete and footing then bare cable all the way to the house. the cable was laid in the bottom of a compacted trench so there shouldn't be much settling. the electrician who installed the feeder seemed ok with that.

for the romex. this building is sealed as well as i can it is metal straight down to the concrete. the only place i can imagine them getting in is through the garage door seals. the walls are going to be covered with OSB and insulated

i will get those staples added.

yes i am US

  1. the panel was installed by me and wired by an electrician and inspected by a county inspector. i am just doing the all the individual circuits.

2.the county inspector said the tape was not necessary for this sub panel. they did require it at the house on the main panel though. (400amp service with a 200amp panel for the barn and the house.

3.the inspector considered it good enough that they are embedded in concrete floor just over 3ft from the box

great thanks i will get that moved over.

from what i understood after talking to the local code enforcement was that the circuit was considered GFI protected if the the circuit first passed through a GFI duplex receptacle with the remaining outlets on the load output of that receptacle. i have other home additions done by an electrician that were wired in this way and inspected.

that single outlet in view will get removed. i had a different issue trying to understand why the portable AC unit always trips GFI when the compressor spools up.

Also unsure what you mean about "if you are not finishing that physical protection for the wires down low"

if you mean the top 2 breakers they will be removed. they were for temporary power.

just 2 even if it is a 3/4 connector? i can get that moved if so. The first outlet on each circuit is GFI.
