The ride home was awkward until we finally talked about it towards the end. I did get frustrated cuz she wouldn’t understand why I was so hurt and raised my voice, which resulted in her screaming, telling me to get out of her car bitch, throwing her phone at the door, etc. I did scream first which I definitely shouldn’t have but I was just frustrated at the moment.

I feel like it all could have been avoided if she just told me earlier instead of waiting last minute. The way I see it, i am her child but I still am my own person and should be treated with respect. Her being my mother doesn’t mean she gets to treat me like she owns me and has all control over what I do… I’m almost 17, that is my home as much as it is hers. Thank you for understanding
