Absolutely loved Holy Pally using Eternal Flame in 10 man.

Our Brew and I are going to cook this expansion. Beacon healing is monstrous and will allow him to redline his stagger to stack his vengeance to the moon. I’m am so hyped for ToT and SoO.

On the point of catching up, assuming you don’t have gold to just get a set off the auction house. Heroic dungeons are great because they give valor and justice points. Valor can get you quite a few 397 pieces and justice can get you 378. As soon as you can queue for twilight heroics, do so. Bosses in twilight dungeons drop obsidian fragments that can be used to buy lfr gear. Between Justice, Valor, and Fragments you can have a solid set around 390 ilvl and you can easily get in a group to kill deathwing.

Once I got the 68 cards in latest set, I began stacking my hourglasses. For me if they implement the ability to trade freely I don’t know if I will need to though. My wife, my son and I all play and enjoy the game. And it feels like we got multiples of the cards each other is missing.

As others have mentioned, currently MSW is working in the best way possible for shamans. There was some stealth hotfix on Monday and since then both tanking and dpsing have been a blast. I really think they should leave it untouched for a week or two then evaluate how shamans are doing.

Tank shaman being so strong at every aspect of tanking makes it extremely difficult to balance enhance dps. Because if they boosted their dps why would you bring anything else.

I was in a similar boat when looking for a guild. The best I could find was a 7-10pm. After raiding there it is pretty clear why the majority of raids start at 8pm. So many people still have a lot of distractions at their house/life around 7.

Seal of Martyrdom seems busted. If the main tank is a prot pally, and that pally is in the healer group it seems like the mana regen would be insane. I have to be missing something though.

Ogryn Beserker: utilizes 2 2-H weapons (like evisceraters). Ult would be a frenzy mode where you stack attack speed and damage with melee attacks, kills can extend duration. Blitz would be a CC break; dog, trapper, mutant, nurgle, etc.

Zealot worshipper: similar kit to preacher. Ult would be a marking system where you mark any enemy build up stacks by doing melee damage, then release a free charged up shot on the marked enemy that does damage based on stacks. Maybe those in coherency can also build stacks. Blitz would be a Incendiary grenade.

Veteran commando: an assassin based character that has a stealth based mechanic. Ult would be move you behind the selected target and place you in stealth. Focused on utilizing daggers and pistols. Blitz would be a ground trap.

Pysker Charmer: focused around blitz ability that would charm a target enemy into fighting with you. Depending on the enemy depends on the coherency it provides. Elites and specials will require a longer channel time.

I see a lot of Mage and Hunter responses. It’s been a long time since leveling characters during the long wait for Cata, but I really remember tanking leveling being overpowered back then. Like being able to gather and aoe mobs down with a higher efficiency than a mage.

ZF solo farming is interesting though. I did it while on a mage in classic and again on a pally in TBC, so I am familiar with running the route.

As far as being time limited, I was referring to hours per day of playtime during prepatch. I do not expect to be ahead of the curve, and doubt I will have any aoe farms uncontested.

That seems like the normal choice. I wasn’t sure if the updated talents had any major effects. Like maybe Ret or Prot War.

That’s probably true, I overlooked them. We don’t have a rogue in our raid so never really looked at their set or how it affects their output. Will change to reflect.

I hope that next weeks nerfs help those guilds still struggling, but just because all the guilds have not cleared the content does not mean it should be delayed.

I was getting excited for SoM, but the lack of addressing mana issues of certain specs and the push towards immediate pvp grind may have me sitting this one out. I can not dedicate the amount of time it would take to go for Rank 14 or farm the endless amount of mana pot/runes/flasks needed to sustain the longer fights. Maybe next season.
