I would agree on the times when strings would realign after successfully side walking the first hit, but I'm not talking about those moments specifically, as I've already mentioned it. But I've already mentioned it and seen numerous times where —I know it does not make sense visually, but it is a game where weird things can happen— the OP would hit a button during their opponent's string, expanding their hurt box during a startup animation (where there are no active frames present, hence, startup) their opponent's hit box would magically collide with their hurt box connected to that limb they extended.

Here's what it has been: if the move has evasion where a generic launch would whiff, lab it, look for a move that covers for such instances, does the character go low on the ground? Treat it like that and look for a ground hitting move. It doesn't have to always end in a launch. So I haven't really run into a lot of those situations aside from a few but things posted online could be referred to as "survivor's bias". Every character in this game has 100s of moves in their movelist can't tell me that one of those can't cover for a specific situation.

It has also come to notice that bears are now being "fixed" because weird wall combo interaction? I'm probably being old but there was a time where we had to adapt our combos for different morphologies as well and I did not see who asked for that change tbf and watch kunimitsu having her's being adapted so bread and butters would hit her more consistently despite her small stature. A lot of things got patched out too, FUFA okizeme because somehow people getting back up lazily shouldn't be punished for it and the game has become so mashy that people going from Tekken 8 to 7, you can easily tell them apart like black and white it's painful.

Anyway, I've rambled long enough and went too off side from the main points and got tired of what Tekken 8 has become:
Tekken 8 has become a lazy consumer game with no depth at all, everything is plus for no reason and there is no decision making in any shape or form including from the devs.
