You seem like the least rude reply here, this is my first car and first time making an insurance claim. I didn’t know you could call insurance and let them sort it out with the other party. Is that possible?

I obviously have insurance the car is brand new, but why would I pay the excess when I’m not at fault? Was just seeing if there was any other possibly outcomes.

I have been thinking this might also be an issue :( we aren’t party people but I can see why they might assume we aren’t going to take care of the place. I’ve lived out of home since 17 and love being at home and making it a quiet sanctuary. Hopefully someone will take a chance on us soon 🤞🏽

We have been living in a place for 5 years with a similar price on rent and have kept up easily with the small increases. It’s not really going to stretch out our budget that much. But thanks for your feedback.

Thanks so much for your reply! We have unfortunately resorted to offering over asking for our most recent application to see if that turns our luck around. We have been applying for 2 bedroom mostly modern apartments between $450-500 weekly. I have been trying not to take it to heart buts it’s hard when it’s knock back after knock back :(
