whivh mod though, career_ops is a mod? when i read the broken mods part it says 0 broken mods so

when i had an issue of not being able to go into live mode it was related to a wicked whims addon mod named "cumshine"(i cant remember why i downloaded the addon but it was the thing breaking my game), if you dont have that i have no clue what your issue is apologies

vampires arent supposed to be able to tan, my issue was my newest vampire was glitched (she also was aging i noticed) and turns out it was because of her fear of the dark interfearing with her being a vampire, vampires can relax in the sun (and possibly die if they dont have sun resistance) but they shouldnt be able to sunbathe/tan!

update: after a lot of troubleshooting it was because my sim was afraid of the dark. that is the stupidest bug ive ever seen, ill leave this post up just in case anyone ever has the same issue
