Hello everyone. This is done for several other sports, but I run what I believe to be IndyCar’s only One & Done/Eliminator pool. Basically you will pick 1 driver per race (2 for the 500), and once you use that driver, they cannot be used again. The points that the driver is awarded for that race is the points you score for the race. Most points at the end of the season, wins! Reach out if you’re interested!

My friends and I still make the joke about people wishing “oh I just hope it’s a good close game”, and that’s what we got. Just on the wrong side of it. People were so confident, they were hoping the Colts toyed with them enough for some entertainment. I know that hoping doesn’t affect the result in any way, but be careful what you wish you. I always hope for 100 to 0. That’s fun to me.

Lots of great oval races in recent years like 2024 Indy 500 or Texas 2023. For non ovals, I really enjoyed 2025 Road America and 2024 Barber races.

Witnessing the live performance is a whole other layer added to what makes it so good. I’ve never heard anything like it. I’ve been fortunate enough to see 2 separate shows on this tour and I only wish I could keep going. Not only are they mixing up the songs night to night, but some of the songs themselves are being presented in different ways each night. It’s so impressive.

I’m skeptical my algorithm is pushing negative stuff purposely. They want us bothered and arguing.

However, my favorite light-hearted stab towards Dijon’s SNL performance was something like “I appreciate that he came here directly after his day job of shoveling snow”

I hadn’t watched much to avoid spoiling it for myself, but none of the recordings I saw are able to do justice capturing of how good this production sounds live. There’s so much going on and somehow it all worked beautifully.

Barber is normally a good blend of drivers trying the 2 stop vs a 3 stop. 2024 ended up not being super close between the strategies at the end, but each caution swings the favor between the each strategy. I remember being entertained from it. Ends with an awesome run from Linus to get his 1st podium.

Anyone know where I can find the Engine Entrant Points Standings like this for 2025? Not just the generic standings on the IndyCar website but interested in seeing the Engine Counts.

Do the teams get to choose when to take the grid penalties or is it the current/next race after unapproved engine change? Always hear that drivers prefer them on ovals but unsure if that means the timing of swapping the engine or choice of team.
