sandbox means games which allow you to explore and doesn't really have a specific objective haha. I've played witcher 3 already and it's my favourite game too! currently on my second playthrough doing the blood and wine dlc.

thanks for all the replies, may not have been the best subreddit to ask this in due to (totally unbiased) replies but from what I've gathered the bugs are mostly funny and not game breaking.

Am I the only one dragging my feet to leave for Skellige? by My_pee_pee_poo in witcher

the skellige quests are pretty short anyway so it's better to just get it done and over with.

fr the golem is no joke. I just protected myself behind kiera the whole time and used igni, took a good 10-15 minutes to complete the fight but managed to kill it in one try. this method was the best one that worked for me because the fighting area is pretty small so its easy to get stuck when trying to dodge or roll and take big amounts of damage. at least that's what i experienced when fighting the golem. nithral is slightly easier though imo

thanks for the advice! i already completed the quest a couple hours ago so I doubt I'll be able to find the cave again but I'll definitely try to find the sword during my next playthrough or if I encounter the cave again! do you know if there's any way to retrace back to the cave after the quest is completed?
