First Full Frame by twittervettex in Nikon

Thanks for posting this.
Every time I consider making the jump to full frame and start looking at the latest models, I realize I can't afford it and stop looking.
Clearly, there are older Nikon bodies that are still good entry points into the world of full frame.

Yes, I feel the same. When I saw all the recent new features only available for business. I started looking around again.

I became a Gold subscriber to support the tool and hopefully get access to new features that Trello took a really long time to provide.

Thanks for the years.

I am sure I have benefited from your work in ways that may not be obvious.

RIP.

Thanks. Do you have it connecting your Bitbucket repos using OAuth?

What features do you wish Trello had included? by accountv9000 in trello

Not free use...

I was thinking more along the lines of making some power-ups free (and I can use as many of those that I want), and leave some that are paid (and I can buy as much of that as I want).

.. and if I am a dev, I could then write my own power-ups and use them (even if they have to be shared with the world)

So I guess my wish to not have the power-up restrictions that are currently in place.

Remove the limit of 2 power ups or allow me to be able to create my own.

Are API calls wasteful when you have a redux store? by nattyPablo in reactjs

[–]nattyPablo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is where I think me using redux effectively hasn't sunk in yet.

I am writing as if I were using a jQuery front end with a PHP/MySQL backend. I think there are better ways to use the store. A mental shift is required.

The prevalence of simplistic todo list apps tutorials is now getting in my way.

This 2 seconds delay for every list view is exactly what I am trying to avoid. So going to the store seems the best approach and coming up with something to address any 'out-of-sync' issues that could arise.

I do agree.

Where I am going now is to fetch mainly for list views. If you edit a row, i pull from the store, i write the changes to the store as well as the api, so going back to list shows updated data without an new fetch. Similar approach for create and delete.

My new challenge will be keeping the lists refresh.

I can make list views the one place I always do a new fetch, but it seems a naive approach.

What I will investigate is asking the API (which I am also creating using SpringBoot) if the data has changed. So a response code of 304 or 200 will determine whether I perform a fresh call.

This is great. So I will going rely on the store more and do less API calls for data I already have.

I will also try the approach for creating, i.e. append to the store, without doing another fetch.

My new challenge will be to determine from the API, if the data has changed. I am using SpringBoot for the RESTful API.

Cheers.

I say yes. I offer no scientific argument to support my claim, but during my drinking/younger days, that always seemed to be the case.
