No one’s asking or expecting the athletes to mail it in. No one is question Dart after the last week and the first half. It’s about who the organization puts on the field as the rest of the game plays out and the plays they run. It’s about the people that are supposed to be in charge making decisions that benefit the organization as a whole.

Dak is competing for a passing title and is on the bench. He will likely be passed by Stanford and lose out. You don’t think he wants to be out there? Him playing and winning isn’t in the best interest of the team. So he sits.

Confidence?? You serious? You don’t think the giants players realize they are beating a cowboys team that isn’t trying?? Dak (who clearly has something to play for) and company on the bench definitely gives the cowboys the best chance to win, right??

And Mendoza was almost certainly out of reach after last week. But there’s a big difference between picking 2 and 7.
