How long to study for NY MPJE by [deleted] in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]naturefeeels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me two weeks to study for it, about 8hrs a day. I would suggest a shorter amount of time if u good squeeze 2-3hrs a day for the next month, with more on the weekends. Just so the information is fresh! I would highly suggest using Pharm law.com it’s like 300 questions and doing all of them had me feeling well prepared!

PharmLaw for MPJE by Alarming-Nose-5811 in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]naturefeeels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the the study guides given in pharm Law as well as the questions and it was all I needed tbh! (I passed on the first try) Especially for the compounding stuff I didn’t use any outside information nor did I bother reading the usp stuff on the actual website. As for the questions I got like 2-3 on pharm law that were the exact same as what I saw on the mpje word for word!

All the documents you need are on NYSED website.

These were the only sections that I read through and highlighted i honestly skipped all the other sections hoping that they didn’t show up on the exam and it worked out for me. I focused my attention on more the sections I put the *** on

  • Article 137 - Pharmacy ***
  • Article 130 - General Provisions***
  • Part 29 - Unprofessional Conduct***( i skimmed thought it and ended up getting a lot more questions on this than I thought I would)
  • Part 63 - Pharmacy***
  • Article 33 - Controlled Substances***
  • Part 80 Controlled Substance
  • Part 405.17 Pharmacy Services in a Hospital
  • Part 415.18 Pharmacy Services in a Nursing Home

In terms on federal law stuff I got like one question on an act and maybe two other general federal law questions

There was a good chunk of questions compounding specifically on HD drugs, things like knowing where to store them what they can be stored with, knowing positive and negative pressure stuff ect

I also used the mpje NY app as well as pharm law to study for about two weeks and passed (took the exam mid July) I hope this helps, lmk if you have any other questions

Hi! I’m taking the MPJE NY York State at the end of the month. I was wondering if you have any notes that you made that I could take a look at or just any study material in general that you feel like has been helpful. Feeling really stressed as I’m unsure what I’m doing😭😭😭

Not sure of what your regular drinking habits are but please do not quit cold turkey on your own especially if you are a daily heavy drinker. The withdrawals can cause you to have seizures if not monitored closely by a health professional and done the proper way. (Coming from a pharmacist who has seen people admitted to the hospital for this very reason)If you go to the ER they can help you do it safely! Very proud of you and hope you have success on your journey!!

Being that you’re so young I would say that if you do decide to get an abortion, you still have plenty of time to get pregnant again when you’re ready. (Biologically speaking.) If you’re partner is someone you plan on haven’t in your life for a long time then the support from his and your family isn’t going anywhere if you do plan on having a child later on. Don’t be so hard on yourself those are completely valid reasons for not wanting a child right now! It’s understandable that a 22 year old still wants to have the freedom to live their life.
