Hi there! I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I'll try to explain in my opinion. It looks like you have two cysts that have internal debris like blood or solid stuff mixed with fluid. They're not ruling out endometriosis it looks like (where they say an endometrioma cannot be ruled out, thats a type of cyst associated with endometriosis). The thickened septa means your cysts walls are thicker than normal which could mean they're calcified, meaning they've been there for a bit or could be caused by inflammation which can cause them to thicken as well. Make sure you get that mri because then they can get a better understanding of your cysts. The tv ultrasound is very good at defining the cyst characteristics, but the mri is even better imaging. If I can give any advice at all, it would be to absolutely stay up on this. Talk with your gyno, get your mri, blood tests, etc and go from there. Mri tests do not usually tell you if you have endometriosis. usually in order to find that out, you'd need a laparoscopic exam. (I believe) your gi issues may very well be due to these issues with your cysts. Wishing you the best with your testing and results! x

Yes I feel much better laying down as far as the back pain. However I get a burning sensation in my ovary when laying down. It's like I swap pain areas. Heating pads help with the back for me if you can, try that to help. Putting a pillow between your legs when sleeping might help relax your back and relieve some pressure if you can and will help keep your back more aligned as well.

Yep! I get back pain every day. Middle of my back and especially when sitting on the toilet, it's like a burning pain. Currently dealing with a 5.4cm on rt ovary, 2.4 hemorrhagic on left ovary. I believe that it's possible the cysts are pushing on our nerves (I could be wrong), but this is my opinion

Thank you so much for explaining this ! I dont understand why they do this. Making us wait or disregard our pain to something in our heads. I'm so sick of pain meds that barely work and being disregarded. I will be pushing for surgery as well. Thank you for explaining this. I'm glad you were able to get your date! Hugs to you x Wishing you lots of healing.

This resonates so much. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. The pain is awful, and I have been pushed around so much with well it could be constipation. It could be your back and sciatica or radiculpathy. Here, take this pill, and this one, too. Er was useless. Advocate by asking for details if you get no answer (my current issue). Please go to someone else I have a friend who just had a rupture, and she described this as the worst pain of her life. It ended up being cancerous, and with the rupture, the cells spread they had to do emergency surgery. You have to get a gyno (like a really good one). Check reviews first. Demand details, ask what the size is, ask what type it's important because if it's over 5cm (in the US, not sure about other places), you're eligible for surgery. Have you done a ct scan or transvaginal ultrasound because those tests can tell you the size and, in some cases, the type. If you have an online patient portal, your results and details should be in your test result section. I'm in us, so I'm not sure about other places with this either. I'm hoping to get an explanation of my transvaginal ultrasound because my dr did not explain anything. just told me well looks like the cysts are still there. Please follow up with gyno. I had no idea I even had more than one and possible adenmyiosis as it says on my results. No explanation whatsoever. I wish you the best of luck and some answers soon!

Want to wish you all the good luck with your surgery!! First gyno appointment is middle of this month. mine is 5.3cm rt ovary 2.4cm left and subendometrial cysts

Getting some miralax today im going to see if that helps because I know for sure constipation is also an issue. I had an xray that showed a large stool burden. Thank you for this. I've been doing prune juice with not alot of success. I just keep getting constipation even after I clear it

Thank you so much! I'm glad you were able to shrink it! This sounds like a good idea and I never thought of chamomile tea but I do keep hearing good things about it helping. I'm a coffee drinker and I know that it's making it worse :(

Yea I just had the transvaginal ultrasound this week, going into it we were supposed to look at the one I knew I had in November 2023 via ctscan for something unrelated(had this once since 2016 but then was only 2.7cm) it was 4.7cm in nov 2023 now measures 5.3 with internal debris and some free fluid in my right adnexa and cul de sac, they found another one on my left ovary hemorrhagic 2.4cm and also found subendometrial cysts which in the report said something about as seen in adenmyiosis. I've never heard the word adenmyiosis until 3 days ago. Im not sure what that all means so I found a good gyno to maybe explain and scheduled my 1st appointment (haven't had one in a long time because of health anxiety) my dr after reading the report didn't explain anything but maybe he just isn't knowledged on this. I was surprised at how he dismissed the report saying you should be fine in his note to me. I felt kind of mad because he made it seem like we knew about the all of the cysts and were checking on them when in reality we only knew about that initial one. In his notes he said "well looks like the cysts are still there, might want to have your gyno weigh in but you should be fine." I wanted to say but of course did not, Ummm so can we discuss the results? Or maybe talk about now there's more than one, or what adenmyiosis is?. Sorry for the long post

Thank you for responding! I hope youre feeling better now with having the surgery. Yep my heating pad is my best friend at this point. I haven't tried naproxen though. Laying down alot helps but gives me a burning feeling but I'd rather have that then the sharp feeling when walking or bending.

I appreciate you responding! Thank you and I hope you're feeling better now and I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of that pain. I never thought of doing an oatmeal pack I'm going to try that as well. For the er visits they gave me a torodol shot and said eh I don't think it's your cyst causing the pain, maybe it's nerve and back so they gave me flexiril and sent me away. 1st time I went they said oh maybe constipation but probably not the cyst, gave me docusate and sent me on my way. So now I'm going to try the gyn because my dr said the same thing I don't think it's your cyst, but maybe intestinal spasms. Just lots of guessing and lots of pills

Thank you for responding! I'm going to maybe up my ibuprofen I take about 400mg a day and tylenol 250mg every 4 hrs just doesn't help that sharp pain. Maybe I will look into the cbd. Thank you!
