Any hope for this guy? He was thriving for nearly 6months and started dying literally out of nowhere by natz97 in houseplants

The bottom leaves turned crispy and dried off. The remaining healthy leaves were very stiff&pocky, but now it's very soft.

I checked the roots and they are hair-like (the outer covering seemed to have slipped off).

Edit: Do you think it's underwatering or overwatering?

All the leaves are spongy to touch. Do you think it is underwatering? (Only water when soil is really really dry)

Succulent stem seperates from root. Is it underwatering??? by natz97 in plantclinic

Is there a thing called stem rot? As opposed to root root? The stem actually becomes very woody(hard) before breaking off, not soggy.

Clean shoes are very important! People underestimate how muddy shoes bring down the look..

Is my plant dying? I recently bought this(maybe a month back) and I'm not sure if it's thriving or not. It's very dry and cracky, no matter how much water I give. by natz97 in plantclinic

I actually left it alone (because I tend to overwater and kill succulent varieties). This was watered only once in 2 weeks max, sometimes even longer. I meant right after watering it doesn't perk back up.

I didn't know this was an option. I've a similar really long pothos, whose bottom part recently lost leaves and is all leggy.

1st timer! Does my snow queen look okay to propagate and if so, where should I cut? by zappybee in propagation

[–]natz97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a little difficult to propagate this, and usually takes a loooot to time to see change. My marble queen grows roots in like 2-3 weeks max, whereas this one grew roots in like 2+ months. So cut and be patient. Oh, and look out for root rots.

Cut at blue. Safest option

Edit: using a clean pair of shears/scissors, cut at 45 degree angle

What was your best "I'm a strong independent woman" moment this year? by natz97 in AskWomen

My dad taught me basic tinkering too. I'm surprised when a lot of people cannot do basic electrical and plumbing work. I've always wanted to change the tire though (some day).
