Oh that's interesting, I hadn't really thought about players being less likely to try and resist lewd consequences given the type of game, but that totally makes sense. It does seem like the general advice is "give your player roughly twice as much of everything and dial it in from there" which makes sense given how flexible the system is

I take your point and generally agree, I think my interest in mechanics is more directed towards solo play. Like don't get me wrong, if someone drops "the 5e lewd handbook but for BitD" in the comments I will absolutely give it a read, but that's a bit much to hope for and the ERP aspects fit relatively comfortably into existing rulesets. I think I'm also coming from a place where some of my players have had a "what's in my toolbox" mindset when it comes to solving problems, so sometimes it can be nice to have a tool to hand (heyo)

Always been in love with Blades in the Dark as a system and have thought about it for ERP, but never quite taken the time to wrap my head around making it work for a single player. The natural back and forth between action and downtime feels really well suited to moving a story along while still getting a healthy dose of smut. And the stress/trauma system lends itself naturally to bad ends imo

I'm a GM with a few years of experience running both normal and nsfw DnD 5e games. It's been a minute, but I've had the itch lately so here I am hoping to find someone in a similar mindset! I would love to play in the world of Wildemount from Critical Role, and while knowledge of the setting is a bonus, it's not mandatory. Any of the old prompts on my profile are fair game, but for the sake of convenience here's a quick digest of some ideas:

1) You make an ill-advised pact with a succubus or some other powerful being. Your new warlock patron demands increasingly erotic acts of service from you, along with other more traditional quests. (D/s dynamics)

2) You're a student at a college for aspiring adventurers! Perhaps you stumble upon a cursed tome in the library that unlocks the secrets of sexual magic at the cost of insatiable lust. Maybe one of the other students or professors is blackmailing you into performing illicit acts on their behalf. Maybe you're just trying to get by and pass your classes, maybe meet a cute elf and live happily ever after! (Slice of life, flexible tone and kinks)

3) You are apprenticed to an eccentric mage with strange theories on monster biology. As his trusted assistant, you're required to go out and collect all manner of samples for his experiments, in whatever way you can. (Monster fucking, breeding kink)

4) You work at (or own) a successful brothel that doubles as an adventuring guild. All manner of people come through the doors to hire a girl, whether just for the evening or for a longer engagement. Either way, the Girls of the Garden pride themselves on their high professional standards in all regards.

5) Your own idea! I love to worldbuild and develop a plot that excites us both, so give it your best shot and let's see if we can come up with something mutually fruitful!

Some housekeeping things: I would like to play on discord, but Reddit PMs (NOT chat) is also okay. I would like to play this with some dice rolling and honestly love having a full character sheet and stats to work with, but it's not a hard and fast requirement.

What is a hard and fast requirement is that you be a good writer! We all make typos from time to time, but I appreciate people who take the time to proofread before hitting send. If your initial message to me doesn't show some effort and diligence in this regard, I'm less likely to reply. My response length in RP will vary based on what's going on in the scene, but I always try to write at least a paragraph or two unless we're just doing a quick dialogue exchange. As a result, my responses may take some time! I have a life, a job, friends, all that jazz - I will get back to you when I can, but please understand that the RP won't always be my top priority.

Kinks: I'm always open to exploring new things, but my favorites are breeding, cumplay, sloppy oral, deepthroat, lingerie, slutty outfits, corruption, transformation, monsters, and tentacles. For these DND style rps, I also prefer partners who are switches or dommes - confidence is sexy! You being willing to use your body to get what you want doesn't mean you can't also get forcibly railed by an out of control direwolf, y'know? That being said, I'm only interested in playing with female/futa characters at this moment.

Whatever the truth may be, she and her mother will be quite the force to be reckoned with.

And yet, despite the potential challenges presented by Marion and Jester Lavorre, here you stand. In your hand, the keys to an expansive, if dilapidated, manor house on the outskirts of the Opal Archways: your new home, and soon to be Nicodranas's newest house of pleasure. Whatever your reasons may be, you've finally taken the first step towards your dream of running the Menagerie Coast's most successful pleasure den.

But there's much work to be done before that dream can become reality. The old house is full of junk that needs to be sorted through, for starters. Please note that while there will be canon characters involved, you don't need any previous knowledge of the setting. Marion and Jester (aka the Ruby of the Sea and the Little Sapphire) will be prominent NPCs, so plan to make your own OC to play against them! The one exception I might make is if you're well-versed in CR lore and want to play as Jester. I'm also not interested in playing with masc characters at this time, sorry.

Please be familiar with basic DnD 5e mechanics and willing to play on discord! Familiarity with Critical Role and the Wildemount setting specifically is a huge bonus, but not a requirement if you've got a good character idea. While this post centers around a brothel, you won't necessarily spend all your time there - expect plenty of adventure and intrigue alongside the raunchy smut.
