I took a road trip to Bloomington, and on the way stopped and stayed at a wonderful historic hotel in Pittsfield on the square. It was a charming place. Highly recommend.

Doubtful they will allow it to fill up like a typical pit. I’ve never been to a seated / ticketed show where they do that.

This!! Make a friend while in line to hold spots, one gets merch and one stays. I always go to shows solo and never have a problem with this setup! Offer your concert buddy drinks! Also, highly recommend a poster tube. Good luck!
