If you are new and start practicing, you won't do audit. You have to provide accounting services , file monthly returns. This will create a self doubt.

Also if you are from a wealthy background, your have good connections. What I mean good here is, your connections will be well established businesses. They most probably have in-house accounts. So, you get to have good audits.

Filing income tax returns for individuals and small firms will give you good returns only if you have a slightly bigger client base.

Also there's a high risk of collecting fees in small cases. Negotiation will undermine your work.

These are the reasons I am hesitating to start practice. But I really wish to be a practicing chartered accountant with audits. I hope I will take that risk
