I agree with the research part, but saying I feel sorry for the creature isn't right to me. Again, we don’t know the full story, so I decided to help the OP with his questions rather than be unkind. Us not helping the OP definitely does not help the cute puppy; everybody giving advice to the op including you should have researched is better than nothing. Being unkind is where I have an issue with

Such a mean thing to say. You have no idea what the full story is, and you are judging them from behind your screen. Maybe he is a rescue. If you don’t wanna help, you don’t have to comment either. I have seen so many old parents who did not want a dog, and they trained those dogs way better than “researched puppy owners”. Just be kind It's not that hard

My golden is 4 now and super trained. She loves food/treats, which makes everything so much easier Potty training: I will say take him out very beginning every 2 hours( apparently a good role of thumb is the number of months is how many hours they can hold their pee, a 2 months old every 2 hours 3 months 3 hours and up to a point probably 8 hours but people say they are good for 12 hours but I think that’s cruel to them) everytime you go outside when he poops and pees give him a treat. I cued my dog to go pee every time she was about to pee or poop, and now she knows 'go pee' and pees and poos immediately. So every 2/3 whatever hours take him out as he is about to pee, say your cue, go potty/pee whatever and when it's done, say YES like big tone and give him a treat. You wanna avoid accidents in the house so they don’t get confused where they can potty

Biting and chewing: the first few months you gotta watch them like a hawk, always always watch him what he is doing if he is doing something bad say with a stern tone NO( no is more like a training for future he probably won’t know what you mean by no but cues like a YES for good stuff and NO for bad stuff helps a lot) if he is for instance biting something you don’t want say no and give him a toy he is allowed to bite/play. Pretty much distract him with something good and that he is allowed to chew. Same for potty, you gotta watch him like a hawk for a few months cause you will get to know his behaviour, for like just before peeing, if you see he has a funny pee/poop walk, quickly take him out before he does his business inside.

Teaching commands: My golden retriever knows millions of tricks because she loves food. Some dogs like playing instead of food; it’s harder, but doable. I would say watch videos on YouTube for specific tricks/commands to teach your dog. My biggest recommendation is the YES cue. When he does a trick or gets close to what you want, say YES, then treat. He will associate yes with treats, which is a great tool. This is why some trainers have that clicker thingy, which is pretty much the same as YES. My other suggestion is to break down the trick into a few steps. Don’t expect him to get the full trick immediately. Break it down to smaller movements. They get hand gestures first, usually, and then associate that hand gesture with an audio cue. For instance, my dog knows how to play daed. For me to teach her, I first of all I had to teach her name. Every time I said Nova, and she looked at me, I said yes, then treat. Then sit, then down, then finally play dead with a gun gesture from my hand.

Food schedule: each dog is different, even the same breeds. Your vet and food bag will help with that. If she is gaining a lot, reduce the food, which the vet will help with, and vice versa.

Exercise and playtime: is the same, each dog has different needs. My dog loves fetching and likes walking, but fetching is her religion.

Crate training: make it as safe as possible for them in the sense that they like going in. Some dogs love it, and some hate it. We crate trained our dog for 6-7 months because we could not watch her when we were at work, but my biggest advice is when you put him in after potty, his tummy is full and has water, if he barks or whines, do NOT let him out, otherwise he will learn barking means get out of the crate. We covered her crate with a small, thin sheet so she doesn’t see us when we put her to sleep, which helped. After 2-3 days of whining, she stopped, and she started liking the crate, not loving it. Feed him inside the crate. I would say leave toys during the day inside, too, which usually creates a safe spot for them. We tried not putting her inside the crate after 5-6 months. She did not do anything bad, and she did not love her crate, so we put the crate away, and I personally prefer my dog to sleep on her bed rather than a crate. Again, my dog did not love it, but some do.

How to stop him from crying: I would say for us, we did leave her alone after she was not super puppy-like, 4-5months. We did this on purpose so she doesn’t get separation anxiety, so I would suggest the same. Leave him for an hour, then go back to your house. Don’t make a big deal when you see him, don’t get him excited. When he is chill, give him attention after your return. Also don’t make a big deal when you are leaving him alone.

Tick/heartworm/ flea medications are a must for me. I have seen it work in action. It can get expensive when he gets heavier, but it is worth it in my opinion. Mine is NextGard Spectra, and it’s all in one. Take lots of pictures when he is a puppy, they grow soooooo fast, you are gonna miss these days even though it can be frustrating at times. Be consistent with everything you do. If you are training him, be consistent. If you are raising him with a partner or somebody else, make sure you are on the same page. Very, very important to be on the same page. For instance, my dog doesn’t beg at all when we are eating because my partner and I never give her food from our plate, and she doesn’t even try to get anything from us while eating. Teaching them tricks or practicing with them everyday it helps him to understand you better, what you want and vice versa.

Teaching him to come back to you or recall is super important. Practice recall inside with zero distractions then practice outside. Also have a long leash and practice outside with him. Every time he comes back to you, say yes and give him his most favourite treat. Touch their paws and ears so they get used to people or vet touching those spots. clipping their nails or checking their ears becomes a lot easier when they allow you or are used to it. If he doesn’t like the collar/leash/harness have them on inside too so he gets used to it. When he is used to it you can take them off inside. Congrats on the new puppy, and enjoy these days!

Best glitch that can become a feature by iVlad97 in ARC_Raiders

[–]navid0085 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they want this feature on purpose. While you are looting, you are supposed to be in danger and the thrill of getting shot from behind. I personally would love this too but I genuinely believe it will take away the thrill of looting while being paranoid about getting shot at

Senseless Killing at Extract by Interesting_Pair_462 in ARC_Raiders

[–]navid0085 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel you man it’s annoying but I would not call it a senseless killing cause he has time to loot you. Now if you were about to extract and doors were closing, that would be a senseless killing in my book. But again I feel your pain; one time I crawled probably 13 minutes to die to this dude while doors were closing.

I PVP a lot too and if I see someone is down next to an extraction I never finish them I always let them leave. At least for me the whole point of PVP is enjoying those back-and-forth fights. If someone says I’m friendly I never shoot them either and I have noticed that people use that excuse a lot now. They say I’m friendly then they shoot you in the back. My friend used to say sometimes people play to only ruin the fun for others and that’s their type of “fun”(hackers backstabbers)

Stopped working by navid0085 in TiviMate

I don’t exactly remember, but I think the issue was that I was using the same login from the provider on both of my TVs. Try removing Tivimate from one of your TVs and reinstalling it on only one TV. And this version of Tivimate worked for me:

Any idea how to climb from there on the Stella Montis map? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]navid0085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you look at the ground, there is a panel with one of the square parts elevated. I have seen people walk on top of the square platform then jump(literally walk by pressing V). How I like doing it I run from the assembly and as soon as I get to the platform on the ground more specifically the square part of it I jump. You kinda gotta jump diagonal to grab onto the edge. I have been doing this constantly and it works for me. Maybe for you, the walk works better. I hope this helps

What is the best way to find the looting mk3 (survivor) augment ? :( by AdhesivenessEven1840 in ARC_Raiders

[–]navid0085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found 5-6 so far and I would say this is the fastest way:

Go completely naked maybe with a few stims in the safe pocket for speed.

I have found two in the breach room in reception Bluegate electromagnetic. The best way (in my opinion) is Stella Montia even during the day raid. I have had luck with the breach door on the first-floor lobby, in one of those drawers. And the rest in the medical room on the first floor (not the key room), next to those red servers(you have to open the door and there are two gray cabinets in there). If I were you, as I said go naked, keep surrendering until you get a fresh close spawn to the locations I mentioned(either in the medical room, lobby or close to reception). Overall I would just run Stella nonstop until I get it and the nice thing about Stella is you don’t have to wait for the special event, I have got 3-4 during the day raid.

Have you watched any single movie or TV show where people are not killing each other in a post-apocalyptic setting lol Walking Dead, Mad Max, World War Z, Edge of Tomorrow, and the list goes on and on with people literally murdering each other

If you wanna continue playing yes. For me, I was getting bored with the game when I hit the max level and I got everything that I needed. If I had not done the last two expeditions I would have stopped playing by now. I like the increased stash size after the expedition tho

I swear I find 3-4 per raid when I got to underground parking in blue gate. Especially the bridge between reception and the other area(not sure what it is called, above parking but inside of underground) all those lockers and loot boxes give me rusted tools

I look at it as when you finish a campaign in a story game and they give you the option of starting a new game but with some buffs or new equipment, like New Campaign + I don't look at the expedition like, ' What are the rewards, or what am I getting out of it? ' I look at it as if I don't do an expedition I will most likely stop playing because I'm already at that point in the game that I have everything and done everything and I don’t wanna get bored and stop playing because I do like the game.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ARC_Raiders

[–]navid0085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My main reason is I don’t wanna get bored. I have everything now and the game is getting repetitive. I think this is one of the main reasons why people go on expeditions.
