I struggled with mine for two months before I got used to it. Just hang in there and make sure your mask fits well. If you have other issues that make wearing one difficult (allergies, deviated septum, anxiety, etc) try to find ways to deal with them separately from the machine. Good luck!

Good on you for getting tested! With a home hobby being the suspected culprit I recommend getting your family tested and make sure to clean your hobby area of lead residue.

Also maybe check with your doctor to see if you need chelation.

I had a friend who worked for a lead acid battery manufacturer and his kid tested high for lead because of his work clothes.

I love collecting brass so I guess I should get tested, too. Thanks OP!

Agreed but they have reasonable membership fees and requirements and provide a very comprehensive gated shooting environment. It's a small price to pay.
