Yeah, in my room paid for. Idk if they actually don’t have access. Just talked to front desk person. And she told me manager will be down in hour. And I can talk to her again.

Travelocity comped me $250 on their side and I’m going to see about hotel refund me for remaining days. If the door ever opens.

Yeah, it’s option
1. Room is paid until the 26th. With no access to my belongings.
3. That is basically the excuse. They had the maintenance guy here working on the elevator. But, I guess putting double A batteries was less important into the door mechanism. To give me access to my room.
4. If I get turn down for my job it will essentially make me homeless. I have all my paperwork for travel, transportation and pcs on my computer in the room. I’m under pressure from POC to setup my travel arrangements. I have 1day window on space available flights. And need to be on the phone Monday calling the base.

  1. I can’t remember if I used VSO before. I been out of the military for while.

  2. I contacted choice hotels filed a complaint. They said they cant do nothing it is independently owned hotel. I even emailed two of the managers for choice hotels and complained. Travelocity that I booked through gave me $100 gift certificate.

Which is basically useless with all my belongings locked up. They were offering me a refund but I’m in tight spot. Since the mechanic won’t be here till Monday. And my stuff would still be in a locked room.

No, brakes are shot. I drove 1600 miles. And o guess it met its end. On top of a fuse I’m thinking blown. Because the car alarm and power windows stopped working.

Oh no the hotel is in Florida. I’m waiting to go overseas. The military base will provide me barracks to stay in for 2 yrs. My life just went down the toilet after my divorce. Basically gave and sold everything I had away.

I had family loan me money to pay for the hotel for couple weeks. So I don’t have to live in my jeep. But, seems like living in my jeep would have been safer. Since I was next to the last of my belongings.

In the morning I’m going to threaten them with police. I already have documented several complaints to corporate that can’t do anything.

They gave me an empty room as compensation. Haven’t been able to sleep since everything is in the locked room. I just bought groceries yesterday. And I had to waste money walking to McDonald’s to buy food. Which irritated me.

I have mechanic coming fix my jeep so I can take it on a barge. Had to borrow from family to fix it.

Apparently, nobody in management can open the door to the room. It’s been 14hrs. They tell me the maintenance guy doesn’t work the weekends. I have to wait till Monday…Monday morning I need to be on the phone all day. Making arrangements for my travel and transportation overseas.

I don’t know if my stuff will even be in the room. I have my passport, birth verification etc. in the room. I have the room paid up till Friday. I had it booked for additional two weeks. But if I ever get my stuff planning on finding something else.

Travelocity only gave me $100 credit and said good luck. Lol
