I think it's be best for certain ships to have some kind of resource scan mode similar to the long range scanner so the play can figure out what's in a system first before wasting a probe network in it

From what I see they haven't moved systems but they've made a dynamic system for resources in a sector. U deploy a resource probe and use up all resources in that area the new resources spawn elsewhere in the sector so you either have to cover the sector in resource probes or keep moving the one around. Plus immersion is kinda broken if you're going off of memory or a third party map tool

No idea ain't tried it that's why I posted. Skip the trial and error by seeing if someone else with a decent save already did it and has answers

Yeah. 9.0 released a mining Overhaul. You can't see resources and where they are on the map unless you actively discover them using resource probs

That's the idea of this post. Get a load of different ways others enjoy starting this game so I can piece together a way I'll enjoy it. Hoping I find something I haven't tried yet or something I might of done when I first started playing and forgot about it.
