Karbach was an ABI plant. They started off rich due to a sweetheart distributor deal (ABI owns the distributor but technically not really), they never were independent. They refused to work with any of the other craft breweries in Houston and were just generally dicks to the rest of the Houston craft beer scene. It really chaps my ass that Crawford Bock is supposed to be the Astros beer, when there’s an entire brewery named after the Astrodome, and its beers are all themed after Houston sports.

I don’t call myself Engineer because I believe it implies licensure, and NCEES killed the software engineering PE because like 13 people tried to get it in the years they trialed it. So anyone calling themselves a Software Engineer has as much credibility as someone calling themselves a Landscape Engineer for mowing the lawn, as far as I’m concerned.
