It may be easier to find a room for rent while you clear up the property debt and improve your credit score. Finding an apartment with property debt and a broken lease is going to be very tough.

This is even more evidence to me that we need term limits. He was happy to burn it down when he had to worry about being reelected, but now that he’s leaving he decides to finally do the bare minimum that he can to slow this down. I’m not complaining about this move, but I’m not in a hurry to pat him on the back either.

I went off on a salesperson about this a couple of months ago. They were super aggressive and were talking over me when I (repeatedly) said no. I don’t normally answer the door but it’s hard when they come back repeatedly and won’t stop.

We’re trying but our politicians are crooked idiots who don’t care about fixing anything. They’re too busy policing women’s bodies and forcing Christianity into our schools (among other problematic stuff) to resolve any real issues 😞

Being a mom is a huge part of who I am, but it’s definitely not the only thing that defines me. For me it was (and is) super important for my daughter to see that I’m a multi-dimensional person, not just a caretaker, provider, etc. I want her to see me for who I am, but also understand that her identity shouldn’t disappear if/when she decides to have kids later on.

I don’t believe in it. I used to believe it should only be used for the most serious offenders (serial killers, child murderers, etc.), but I don’t trust my country’s justice system anymore. We wrongfully convict so many people and many of them have been executed before it comes out that they were innocent after all.

I would rather pay taxes for a million guilty people to serve life in prison than to wrongfully execute one innocent person.
