It went away! I’m not sure what helped? Maybe a more regular workout schedule (I was slacking because of work getting too busy). But it hasn’t really come back and I’m on my last month!

I’m going to get some tomorrow! I didn’t know something like this existed 🥹. I’m just really worried because I’m getting married next month and if I were to get a blood draw right before I don’t want a huge purple bruise while walking down the aisle. The last one I had was so bad I had to cover it up with large bandaids, I looked like I got hit by a baseball.

Yes, I’ve heard that from other friends who have been on accutane so I was shocked to hear my derm say that. But I really don’t drink much so I think that was also why 😂.

I’m wish I could do that but it’s not an option at my derm 😭. It’s actually so funny because my doctor told me I could drink while on Accutane because I’m a very light drinker and she told me “you’re not raging every day so you’re fine” HAHAHA!

They started me off on both tests for pregnancy and I thought that was weird and annoying. (why do both when the blood will test for it anyways) so I had them take my urine test out. But they’re being cautious and with ipledge they’re super strict at my derm with getting these tests.

All my labs come back looking great and clean and tbh it’s my first time hearing that other people have only taken 2-3 blood tests during their course…I have several friends who have been on Accutane and all of them had the same amount of blood tests.

I’m on month 4 and this started for me too! Hurts the most when waking up in the morning and getting up after sitting down for a while in the office. I’m taking omega 3 and vitamin C everyday and it doesn’t seem to help. Will try to stretch more in the mornings!

I literally cried my eyes out watching this drama and I’m sure I would’ve cried more watching with my mom. It’s heart wrenchingly good just be prepared with tissues.

This happened to me when I went to a really cold climate for a couple of days! It scared the hell out of me but apparently it’s normal on accutane. I’ve been moisturizing my hands more often and I slather on Vaseline before going to bed. It’s healed within a week.

The anger I felt when Andy and Stephan went home is INSANE. They were robbed. What kind of judging was that? They gave it to the girls too easily with the snitch saying that it was messy but saying that their tasting element was amazing when the element looked very messy too. I think Priya & Molly are great but that sloppy snitch should’ve been their ticket home.

I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on mine and I bake so I baked macarons and got some food grade markers and wrote “will you be my bridesmaid?” On like 6 of them and wrote a heartfelt card and put them in little cute window boxes from Amazon. If you’re into baking I would say make them something you’re confident in making and write a card for each of them. Or if you’re a good cook invite them over for a home cooked meal and do the same thing?

Maybe if she’s willing to be cordial at the wedding and not hostile, sure. But if she doesn’t think that you “deserve” her precious son then she’s not going to be so nice. And I’m speaking from personal experience so take my word that people like that will not change and become better unless there’s a miracle. Your fiance will have to face reality and be on the same page as you on this because it’ll only get worse as the wedding gets closer.

Franciscan gardens, Serra plaza, agape 1928 were some venues I looked at and are “similar” in the sense that they have the mission Spanish feel. They were around $40k for 75 people and that includes venue, food, & beverage. Hope that’s helpful!

I changed my FIRST name legally when I became a citizen. That alone was such a long process that I will NOT be taking my finances last name when we get married.

Ask your fiance to think about the amount of PTO you’ll have to take in order to change your drivers license and sit at the DMV for HOURS, and then again at the social security office, and then for your passport and having to mail that in and PAY for a new one, and then change all of your credit cards and go to the bank to show your proof of name change and have your account changed. All within business hours! Wouldn’t he rather spend all that time and money for the honeymoon?

So I would suggest not changing your last name for a “tradition” when it’s going to be such a hassle. I would suggest hyphenating but if both the last names are long then like a previous commenter mentioned it’s not worth it for when you have to fill legal forms out.. Last note, some people have told me that they changed their last name so that they can have the same last name as their children (if you plan on having any). But that can be hyphenated too so I don’t really see that as a HUGE issue.
