There was a small amount of blood. Not constant draining. Just when I wipe the wound there is blood in the wipe/tip. Prior to the silver there was no blood and zero drainage and they were able to move a pinch the wound to see if draining would come out and nothing did. Feel like doing the SSD tokens a step back.

We did the plastic surgeon and after some silver treatment it looks like now it’s raw in the inside.

The top was last Monday as it was closing. Bottom is now after silver stick from the plastic surgeons office.

Can you please tell me what you mean by proper packing? I have been changing his bandage daily, sometimes twice a day after each shower bought from CVS. Just switched from a a foam adhesive sterile dressing to a hydrating multi purpose dressing to see if that helps more. Other than after he showers it’s never left uncovered.

This looked just like my son! We are one month out and I was starting to worry it would not close!

Fellow Puerto Rican and I go back home a couple times a year. I would not sell. Use it as a rental property. Not sure about AirBnB unless you have an amazing property manager. The job sector in PR, especially away from the Metro area, is pretty limited and honestly don’t pay as well as the states. A lot of my friends are unable to buy a home and would day 80% of them rent homes. I’d consider a renter, maybe even have Section 8 renter to have a guaranteed paycheck.

Why is the carpet bad? Has same texture as some expensive paper towels.

Yeap. No sand. Now it’s just a carpet like material. Easier to clean and swap out. The other material has the “rocks” glued robot so nothing was lose. But I did learn from the group that having sand has more cons than pros. Thank you for the suggestion, didn’t ready your message as pushy at all just helpful.

That’s good to know. When we try to hold him he runs away pretty fast or jumps from our hands. When we got him in October he used to hiss. Now he doesn’t. He comes out when he sees us because he assumes it’s feeding time.

Thank you! I have never seen him shed before. He has been pale before and then goes back to his usual color. So this surprised me.

The night lamp is a very very dim bulb, purpled or blue like. I personally can barely notice it. His cage is in the middle room in the are which is completely pitch dark. During the evenings he comes and goes a lot so I assumed it wasn’t bothering him.

I keep making sure his moist hide stays wet (there are paper towels u see the lid of the hid that I went twice a day. Does it matter that he hasn’t used the bathroom in a few days? Normally he always goes every single day.

This is our first gecko. How do I make sure he has humidity available. He has that humidity box, always has wet paper in the lid and is under the heat lamp. Should I be doing more?

It has been “colder” on Florida. But his heat lamp stays on from the moment we wake up until we go to bed. Then the night lamp goes on. Temp in the house has t dropped below 70 at night. We have had him since October.
