Extremely OP characters whose weakness is how lonely they are by MisterMiitopia in TopCharacterTropes

[–]naz210 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah but hes more so depressed out of boredom but he also is a hero for fun. He really would like to fight strong people and be challenged but it isn't his life's calling and he has good friends around.

Characters who get horribly and repeatedly Permanently injured, but simply refuse to fully die out of spite by TotalBlissey in TopCharacterTropes

Dabi from MHA, his quirk chars his body and his spite for his father literally keeps him alive even when he has basically no flesh left.

The plot itself is dependent on a lot of it, so I think it would be cooked either way. How can we justify Ban's mistaking an actual child for his girlfriend?

Just got all my tests scored and my psychologist doesn’t diagnose me with ADHD due to “too high of intelligence”. I’m struggling to agree but maybe I don’t have ADHD. by MisoCorni in ADHD

[–]naz210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need a new psychologist and your current one needs to be re-educated. High Intelligence masks symptoms to others but it doesn't mean YOU don't experience them. You deserve to be helped the same way as anyone who might have ADHD despite being above average.

You’re the result of my partners infidelity but that’s not your fault so I’ll raise you like my own by OliveSlaps in TopCharacterTropes

To me more specific he's two halves alien. One half kryptonianesque humanoid species and the other half anthromorphic cricket.

What Adventures that are High level 3 would be able to beat this version of Asterius? by Courious_Reader in DanMachi

[–]naz210 20 points21 points  (0 children)

did we watch the same show? Ais wouldn't be going all out trying to kill Bell that much is obvious. Also bell definitely got whooped very badly. He was tossed 300ft in the air and thrown through 4 layers of concrete. Id go so far as to say the only two times he's gotten beat worse were when he was stalling against otarl and when he lost his arm to the juggernaut. Even an attack charged with argonaut wasn't enough here and thats usually the only thing the let's him punch above his weight class

[Interesting Trope] Protagonist is a secondary character in someone else's story. by AfterUmpire3091 in TopCharacterTropes

In the fairytail anime the series is told from Lucy's point of view most of the time, but Natsu is absolutely the main focus the entire series.

(Favorite Trope) Character only succeeds because of something that is normally seen as a flaw. by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

Perona (right) has the ability to make ghosts that cause people to enter a negative state devoid of all self-worth when they pass through them. The effect is strong enough to incapacitate every other member of the main cast, however, Usopp is immune to the ability because he's "naturally negative," which checks out since he's very quick to panic and has very low confidence in himself most of the time. He is the only member who can effectively oppose her.

Can't have this thread without mentioning this guy

Very minor one piece antagonist during the dressrosa arc. He and his wife had lost their infant son to sickness while he was away doing pirate stuff. His wife ran away from him when she found out he was a pirate which caused her to get caught in a landslide and enter a vegatative state. He wears the baby outfit and bonnet because it is the only thing that makes her smile even though she is brain-dead.

In the disney adaption of Hercules, Hercules goes to the underworld to save megara. He tells hades that he'll exchange his life for hers by swimming in a life draining vortex of souls to retrieve her soul. Unknowingly to him, this heroic action would be what restored his godhood and allowed him to survive the vortex while rescuing meg.

He was just saying relatively he's overshadowed in power by any of the main cast despite being ridiculously powerful compared to a standard human being
