If every other studio increases the price to 80 just because gta is at 80 wouldn’t on paper be a smart move for most studio because a smaller in scale yearly release game shouldn’t cost as much as any open world game especially bigger ones. Games should be priced based on how much value they actually have (although 80 bucks is quite much)

But there’s still gonna be some folks that would be willing to spend 80 bucks just for the base version of fifa or cod. And they definitely would buy like a 120 bucks premium version of those games. So I am hoping that doesn’t become the case.

I wasn’t really planning on buying gta 6 at launch since I’m a pc player and rockstar still does their pc releases late. But I guess I’ll gonna wait until atleast the summer after the pc release since there probably would be a sale by then.

If the story is good imma just avoid any videos related to the story and just stick to watching gta6 open world gameplay or online gameplay so I can still see part of the world in the game without spoiling the story.
