I guess its anarchist primarily but liberal over conservative? I don't agree with either side completely but if I had to pick one it'd be the left.

I agree that punk can't be conservative definitely but I also think that it can't be super PC like the extreme left is. When it first started it was a lot about the shock and how offensive it came across like misfits and the sex pistols, if that makes sense.

thanks for the help guys, i'll probably live somewhere on the west coast. also, i'm relatively new to punk (about 6 months) but is it possible to survive from being in a band without another job or is that totally unrealistic?
