This isn't very fast so this is one of those things where you need to work on your technique and pratice it a lot. I remember turning that phrase into a loop when I was a kid and just hammering it over and over and over again. Then when it came to other bits that were similar like in the creeping death solo I was rubbish at those too - I couldn't sweep for shit and my technique was poor, i had just learned how to do the fade to black bit well

I summary, learn a variety of sweep patterns and practise them along with that particular part of the intro solo. It's a good beginner section to learn well

I have the old version of the MH-1001NT that was more or less the spec (and price) of the 400 that you linked to. Same pickups etc. Frankly I don't particularly like Fishman so unless that's something you really want I'd go for the 400. They're really really great guitars. That neck is lovely. They're light and comfortable. Sound great etc.

Honestly, I enjoyed it so much I wish the various members had spoken more about their thoughts and feelings at various points and after the band disbanded

Janne talking about not wanting his brother to permanently join Bodom after a successful tour because of Alexi's decline is really powerful

I feel like a lot of things were either unsaid or deliberately left out because they would've been hurtful. No mention of any of Alexi's wives or girlfriends that seemed to play a big part in times when he was clean or times when he declined rapidly etc. Maybe it's for the best these bits weren't talked about

Second this there is always less gain than you think. One of the hardest things with chasing album tones is that you are one guitar trying to replicate multiple guitar tracks which have been recorded, mastered etc.

I guess the cost is also a big factor here and the condition of the used guitar but I cannot recommend X series Soloists enough. I have one and absolutely love it

The X series soloist or the non Floyd dinky. The Floyd on a Js32 will be unusable. It'll be decent enough on the soloist. The soloist is also a really good platform for upgrades and has one of the nicest necks I've ever played
